Morris Lake is a long shallow lake in Nova Scotia's Halifax Regional Municipality bordering the communities of Dartmouth, Shearwater and Cole Harbour. The Dartmouth Refinery on the shore of Halifax Harbour draws water from the lake for cooling. The neighbourhood is home to the Portland Hills Centre, which includes Irish themed pub, Finbars. Running through Portland Hills is Birches Park, which includes the Portland Hills Greenway 2.2 kilometre trail.
