Grimsby station is a railway station in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada. It is served by the Maple Leaf train between Toronto and New York City. The Maple Leaf is a joint Amtrak–Via Rail service: ticketing is shared, and trains consist of Amtrak equipment but are operated on the Toronto–Niagara Falls portion of the route by Via crews. The station was formerly served by additional Via trains operating as part of Corridor services, but these were discontinued in 2012. The station is an accessible, unstaffed, but heated shelter beside the tracks replaced a small wooden shed. Parking is free.

Forty Creek is a brand of Canadian whisky produced by the Italian beverage company Campari Group. The distillery is located in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada (between Hamilton and Niagara Falls). The brand and its distillery were privately launched in 1992 by John Hall, a first-generation whisky maker and the owner of Kittling Ridge Wines & Spirits, and were purchased (including the ageing inventory) by Campari Group in March 2014 for CA$186 million (US$168.16 million). Forty Creek Barrel Select is the main whisky produced under the Forty Creek brand name. Hall launched the brand with two expressions called Forty Creek Barrel Select and Forty Creek Three Grain. In 2007, the first of a series of Forty Creek Special Reserves bottlings were released, which are limited-edition expressions that vary with each lot. In 2012, Forty Creek Copper Pot and Forty Creek Cream were introduced.Bill Ashburn, Forty Creek's Master Blender, has been a part of the distillery since John Hall acquired the plant from Otto Reider in 1992. He remains the Master Blender to this day.

Grimsby is a town on Lake Ontario in the Niagara Region, Ontario, Canada. Grimsby is at the eastern end of the Hamilton Census Metropolitan Area. It is named after the English fishing town of Grimsby in north-east Lincolnshire. The majority of residents reside in the area bounded by Lake Ontario and the Niagara Escarpment, home to a section of the Bruce Trail.Grimsby has experienced significant growth over the past two decades due to its position between Hamilton and St. Catharines. Growth is limited by the natural boundaries of Lake Ontario and the Niagara Escarpment. Some residents feel development is detrimental to the town as orchards close to the town centre are used for residential development; however, most of the orchards in Grimsby were replaced by houses between the 1950s and 1980s, and very few orchards remain.According to a late 2019 report, the town has 33 small parks, 17 larger and "many more green spaces, sport fields, parkettes, trails, and facilities". Some notable attractions in Grimsby are the Grimsby Museum, the Grimsby Public Library, the Grimsby Public Art Gallery, the West Niagara YMCA, the Danish Church, and the hockey arena (Peach King Centre), home of the Grimsby Peach Kings.

Grimsby GO Station is a proposed commuter rail station on the GO Transit train and bus network in Southern Ontario, Canada. Located in the town of Grimsby in the Regional Municipality of Niagara, it would be a stop on the Lakeshore West line, east of the proposed Confederation GO Station in Hamilton. It was expected to open in 2021 and would have been the first station to open in the planned Niagara extension, which will also include stops at St. Catharines and Niagara Falls stations.Three potential sites for the station along the Grimsby Subdivision Canadian National Railway track were considered. The three sites were at Bartlett Avenue in the east, at Victoria Avenue in the town centre adjacent to the Grimsby station used by Via Rail, and at Casablanca Boulevard in the west.In November 2018, Metrolinx sent a letter to the government of the Regional Municipality of Niagara stating that it was halting the delivery process for this station and other stations in the Niagara extension, as the Government of Ontario was instead seeking private financing of their construction.

Niagara West—Glanbrook was a provincial electoral district in south eastern Ontario, Canada between 2007 and 2018. It elected one member to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. The riding, which was first contested in the 2007 provincial election, consisted of the municipalities of Grimsby, Pelham, West Lincoln, Lincoln and that part of Hamilton east of Glancaster Road and south of the transmission line south of Rymal Road south of the former city of Hamilton, and also south of the Niagara Escarpment east of the former city. 52.5% of the riding came from Stoney Creek, 31.5% came from Erie—Lincoln, 15.6% came from Niagara Centre and 0.2% came from Hamilton Mountain. In 2018, the riding was dissolved into Niagara West and Flamborough—Glanbrook.

Niagara West—Glanbrook was a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that existed from 2004 to 2015. The riding was created in 2003 from parts of Ancaster—Dundas—Flamborough—Aldershot, Erie—Lincoln, Hamilton Mountain, Niagara Centre, and Stoney Creek. It consisted of the towns of Grimsby, Lincoln and Pelham, the Township of West Lincoln, and the part of the City of Hamilton lying east and south of a line drawn from the southern city limit north along Glancaster Road, east along the hydroelectric transmission line situated south of Rymal Road West, north along Glover Road, Anchor Road, Arbour Road and Mountain Brow Boulevard and east along Redhill Creek and the Niagara Escarpment to the eastern city limit. Following the 2015 redistribution, the portion of the Niagara West—Glanbrook riding within the Niagara Region formed the new riding of Niagara West. The portions of Niagara-West Glanbrook in the City of Hamilton formed part of the new riding of Flamborough—Glanbrook. The riding was represented for the entire period of its existence by Conservative Dean Allison.

Smithville is a community in the township of West Lincoln, Niagara Region, Ontario, Canada. The former police village is located on Highway 20 between Hamilton and Niagara Falls. Smithville is the largest population centre and governing centre of the township of West Lincoln.

Beamsville (2021 Urban area estimated population 13,323) is a community that is part of the town of Lincoln, Ontario, Canada. It is located along the southern shore of Lake Ontario and lies within the fruit belt of the Niagara Peninsula. It contains century-old brick buildings, an old-fashioned downtown area with barbershops, women's dress shops, a bakery, a print shop, restaurants, banks, and other businesses, and plenty of orchards and vineyards. The Queen Elizabeth Way, the main road that connects Toronto and Buffalo, New York, has an interchange at Beamsville. Many tourists stop off at the highway exit for something to eat at the many fast food restaurants located nearby.
