School No. 1 (Russian: средняя школа № 1) is a school located in Gagarinsky District, South-Western Administrative Okrug, Moscow.

MSU Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics (CMC) (Russian: Факультет вычислительной математики и кибернетики (ВМК)), founded in 1970 by Andrey Tikhonov, is a part of Moscow State University.

The title Moscow State Circus is used for a variety of circuses. Most commonly, it refers to one of the two circus buildings in Moscow, the "Circus Nikulin" (the old circus, featuring animal acts) and the "Bolshoi Circus" (the new circus, featuring trapeze and acrobatics), or to traveling shows which may or may not be directly related to Russia.The Russian Circus rose during the Soviet period, when acts from many Russian circuses united to tour the United States under the title, "The Moscow Circus." During this time, the circus became a point of pride. Russian Circus traditions include clowning, juggling, acrobatics, contortion, and animal acts (especially bear acts, such as bears who juggle with their feet).Stylistically, the Soviet circuses were different from their Western counterparts. Their acts were more focused on Eastern European culture, and tended to hold more narrative and be more dance-oriented than their bespangled, action-packed contemporaries. This narrative style has recently become more popular with shows worldwide, with shows by companies including Cirque du Soleil and Cirque Dreams.

The Faculty of Political Science of Moscow State University (Russian: Факультет политологии МГУ) is a scientific and educational structural division of Moscow State University, which trains students in the speciality of political science and conflict studies, as well as trains highly qualified scientific and pedagogical personnel in political science through graduate and doctoral studies.

Japanese School in Moscow (Russian: Японская школа, Japanese: モスクワ日本人学校 Mosukuwa Nihonjin Gakkō) is a Japanese international school located in Lomonosovsky District, South-Western Administrative Okrug, Moscow.It was established in 1967. It occupies the fourth and fifth floors of its building, which is also used by the Moscow Finnish School, the Swedish School in Moscow, and the Scuola Italiana Italo Calvino (Italian school). The campus also has a dining hall, an indoor gymnasium, a technical classroom, a playing field that doubles as a skating rink in the winter, and outdoor athletic fields.

The Moscow Finnish School (MFS, Finnish: Moskovan suomalainen peruskoulu, MSP) is a Finnish-education private school in Lomonosovsky District, South-Western Administrative Okrug, Moscow, Russia, operated by the Finnish School Association. The school uses Finnish as its language of instruction and has lower and higher educational stages.It moved to its current campus in 2003. It occupies 660 square metres (7,100 sq ft) of space on the third floor of its building, using it as classroom space. It shares the campus with the Moscow Japanese School, the Swedish School in Moscow, and the Scuola Italiana Italo Calvino (Italian school). The campus also has a dining hall, an indoor gymnasium, a technical classroom, a playing field that doubles as a skating rink in the winter, and outdoor athletic fields.Most of the children have parents who work for the Embassy of Finland in Moscow and for Finnish companies. As of the 2007/2008 school year, there were 36 students in classes zero through nine.

The Seven Sisters (Russian: Сталинские высотки, romanized: Stalinskie Vysotki, lit. 'Stalin's high-rises') are a group of seven skyscrapers in Moscow designed in the Stalinist style. They were built from 1947 to 1953. At the time of construction, they were the tallest buildings in Europe, and the main building of Moscow State University remained the tallest building in Europe until 1990.The seven are: Hotel Ukraina, Kotelnicheskaya Embankment Apartments, the Kudrinskaya Square Building, the Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya Hotel, the main building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the main building of Moscow State University, and the Red Gates Administrative Building. There were two more skyscrapers in the same style planned that were never built: the Zaryadye Administrative Building and the Palace of the Soviets.
