Baton Rouge National Cemetery is a United States National Cemetery located in East Baton Rouge Parish, in the city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It encompasses 7.7 acres (3.1 ha), and as of 2020, had over 5,000 interments. The cemetery was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 9, 1997.

The Prince Hall Masonic Temple is a historic building located at 1335 North Boulevard in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Originally designed in 1924 as a meeting hall for the Grand United Order of Odd Fellows, the building housed the Temple Theatre and the Temple Roof Garden, which represented two major point of entertainment for African-American citizens of Baton Rouge. The Temple Theatre is the last remaining of the three city theatres for the large black population, the other two (the Grand Theatre and the McKinley Theatre) are no more in existence. The Temple Roof Garden was particularly popular amongst youth clubs for the dances held until the late 1930s and 1940s.The building was purchased by the Prince Hall Freemasons in 1948. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 2, 1994.

The Reiley-Reeves House is a historic house located in the Garden District of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 810 Park Avenue. It was constructed in c.1910-11 for planter George Junkin Reiley in the Queen Anne Revival style and it is one of the few homes from early 1900s still standing in the city, and it's the only remaining home in the city with a Queen Anne style turret and steeple.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on May 24, 1979. It was also added as a contributing resource to the Roseland Terrace Historic District at the time of its creation on March 11, 1982.

BREC Memorial Stadium is a 21,500-seat American football stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana that opened in 1952. Besides high school football, it is also used for concerts and other outdoor events, including monster truck rallies, and used for water skiing events (during the 1960s and 1970s). It features a modern press box, concession stands and restrooms. The Grantland Rice Bowl was played at the stadium from 1969 to 1973. The stadium was dedicated by BREC, the parks and recreation commission for East Baton Rouge Parish, in memory of the men and women who fought and served Baton Rouge during the two World Wars and the Korean War.

Pete Goldsby Field is a baseball stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The park opened in 1956 and has a seating capacity of 2,000.

The Garden District is a residential neighborhood located in Baton Rouge's Mid-City area where Park Boulevard intersects Government Street. The Garden District is an established historic area with many upscale homes and an active civic association [1]. The Garden District is actually a conglomerate of three historic districts as defined by the Louisiana National Register of Historic Places. They are Roseland Terrace, Drehr Place, and Kleinert Terrace.

Capitol High School is a public high school named after the Louisiana State Capitol in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Baton Rouge Magnet High School (BRMHS or Baton Rouge High) is a public magnet school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States, founded in 1880. It is part of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System with a student body of approximately 1500 students. The current building was built in 1926, and, as Baton Rouge High School, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The campus underwent a two-year renovation and expansion starting in 2010, resulting in the addition of two new wings to the main building. This renovation was completed and the school reopened in fall 2012. Baton Rouge High is also one of the highest-ranked schools in the state, and consistently wins state-level academic competitions. The school requires students to pass enrollment standards and exceed graduation standards. As a result, nearly all graduating students attend college.

The U.S. Post Office and Courthouse-Baton Rouge, also known as Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was built in 1932. It includes Art Deco and Moderne architecture. It served historically as a post office, as a courthouse, and as a government office building.It is a limestone-clad three-story building designed by New Orleans architect Moise H. Goldstein, under the supervision of the Office of the Supervising Architect for the U.S. Treasury department in Art Deco style. It has a slightly projected central bay with four engaged, fluted Ionic pilasters.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on May 18, 2000.

The Louisiana Governor's Mansion is the official residence of the governor of Louisiana and their family. The Governor's Mansion was built in 1963 when Jimmie Davis was Governor of Louisiana. The Mansion overlooks Capital Lake near the Louisiana State Capitol in Baton Rouge. The Mansion was designed by the architectural firm of Annan and Gilmer of Shreveport, Louisiana. The final construction cost for the building was $893,843.00. The inspiration for the exterior design was Oak Alley Plantation in Vacherie, Louisiana. Like many plantation homes built between 1830 and 1860, Oak Alley was designed with a second story veranda. The second-floor veranda found at Oak Alley was omitted. It was thought that the concept of a second story veranda was too informal for a Governor's Mansion. Although the new Mansion is in the Greek Revival style, it also incorporates several Georgian features such as dormers, a fanlight of the doorway at the front entrance, and the long window on the circular stairs in the rotunda. Inside, the floor plan includes twelve bedrooms and eighteen baths, two kitchens and one kitchenette, two dining rooms, one breakfast room, a receiving room for state affairs and another for routine business, a living room, a sitting room, two butleries and two security stations for the state troopers assigned to the mansion, and two offices-one for the governor and one for a secretary. Along with the dramatic spiral stairway in the rotunda, there is an elevator running from the basement to the third floor, as well as a system of dumbwaiters. These are wise amenities, considering the size of the house: altogether, the mansion comprises some twenty-five thousand square feet, serviced by a ninety-ton cooling system to battle Louisiana's oppressive summer weather. The main foyer at the mansion features a mural that depicts various aspects of Louisiana History as well as symbolic references to many past Louisiana Governors. This mural was originally painted in the year 2000 under the administration of Governor Mike Foster. It was most recently updated with symbolic references relating to Hurricane Katrina and then Governor Kathleen Blanco. White Doric columns line the building on three sides. The columns are interrupted on the east side by a driveway leading to an underground garage. The exterior of the building is constructed of hand-molded brick that has been painted white. The roof is made of cleft- face Vermont non-fading, gray-green slate. Front and side porches are of the same type of slate. Lamp posts located in the parking lot east of the building were once gas lights used in Plymouth, England. The cast iron railing atop the driveway retaining walls and at the second story windows was designed from the railing used on the old Beauregard House on Chartres Street in New Orleans and was modified with the diamond pattern by the architect. The mansion sits on an 8-acre (32,000 m2) parcel of land. The grounds include a tennis court, a swimming pool, a vegetable garden, and a fountain area. The Governor's Mansion is located at 1001 Capitol Access Road (LA-3045) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70802. The mansion is open to the public for tours by appointment only.
