Scraggane

The Magharee Islands (Irish: Na Machairí), also known as "The Seven Hogs", are a group of uninhabited islands located off Rough Point at the northern tip of the Magharee Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland. The islands, which are part of the parish of Castlegregory, are well known as excellent diving and snorkelling destinations. The Magharees Sound separates the Seven Hogs from the mainland. A monastic site comprising beehive huts and the ruins of an old church are located on Illauntannig. The island is named after the 6th century minister named Saint Senan. Scraggane Pier is the nearest landing point on the mainland.

Fahamore (Irish: An Fhaiche Mhór, meaning 'the big green') is a townland and small village on the Maharees peninsula in County Kerry. It consists of about 50 houses and a pub. Fahamore is located on the shore of Brandon Bay and is a centre for diving, surfing, windsurfing and sea bass fishing. It is also a centre for currach building, and currachs are still used locally, including at the local fishing harbour at Scraggane.

Lough Gill (; Irish: Loch Gile, meaning 'bright lake') is a freshwater lake in the southwest of Ireland. It is located on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry.

Castlegregory are a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the parish of Castlegregory in County Kerry, Ireland. This is a Gaelic football only club, with no hurling played. The club is a member of the West Kerry division of Kerry GAA. They play their home games in the newly renovated surrounds of Pairc An Caislean located just outside the parish's main village of the same name.The club fields teams at all age groups from U10 through to Senior and has an excellent record at underage level with regular representation on county teams from U16 - U21.

Castlegregory (Irish: Caisleán Ghriaire, meaning "Griaire's Castle") is a village in County Kerry, Ireland. It is situated on the north side of the Dingle Peninsula, halfway between Tralee and Dingle. As of the 2016 census, Castlegregory had a population of 250.Castlegregory was named after a castle built by Gregory Hoare in the 16th century. It is the principal village in Lettragh, the name given to the northern side of the Dingle Peninsula.

Maharees or Magharees (Irish: An Machaire or Na Machairí) is a 5 km long tombolo located on the northern side of the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland. Fenit Harbour, the main port of County Kerry, is sheltered from large Atlantic swells by the Maharees. To the north of the Maharees lie the Magharee Islands or Seven Hogs, the largest of which, Oileán t-Seanaigh/Illauntannig, contains remnants of an early Christian monastic settlement, said to have been founded by St. Senan in the 7th century AD. The peninsula is a sandy spit for much of its length, with sand dunes giving way to earth and rocky ground towards the northern end. The sand dunes create a unique ecosystem, home to the rare Natterjack toad which is found locally in significant quantities. Lengthy beaches are found on both sides of the peninsula, which separates Brandon Bay on the western side from Tralee Bay to the east. The Brandon Bay beaches are open to the North Atlantic and often receive long swells, suitable for surfing given wind and tide conditions.The peninsula has a number of campgrounds and caravan parks and contains three hamlets, Fahamore, Kilshannig, and Candeehy. Castlegregory Golf and Fishing club is a nine-hole links golf course located at the base of the peninsula, and a PADI certified dive centre is located at the fishing harbour at Scraggane Bay. Several windsurfing and surf schools are also located at the beaches on the Maharees. Maheree Island Tours and Angling is based at Scraggane Pier. Yachting facilities, a marina, and a sheltered harbour are located a few miles east at Fenit.

Stradbally (Irish: An Sráidbhaile, meaning 'the village') is a small village and civil parish on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland. The larger village of Castlegregory is nearby. The townlands of Ardbeg, Barrack and Farrantooleen, within the civil parish, contain a number of holy well, standing stone, churchyard and ring fort sites. The churchyard at Ardbeg contains the ruins of a late 15th or early 16th century church.

Tralee Bay (Irish: Loch Foirdhreamhain / Cuan Thrá Lí) is located in on the west coast of County Kerry, Ireland. It is situated between Kerry Head on the north side and the Maharees on the west and extends eastwards as far as the bridge at Blennerville. Several small rivers feed into the bay through the town of Tralee. Villages around the bay include; Ballyheigue, Fenit, Kilfinora, Spa, Blennerville, Camp and Castlegregory.

The Mountains of the Central Dingle Peninsula are the generic name given to the mountains that lie on the Dingle Peninsula between the Brandon Group of mountains in the west, and the Slieve Mish Mountains at the eastern end of the peninsula.

Beenoskee or Benoskee (Irish: Binn os Gaoith) is a mountain on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland. It rises to 826 m (2,710 ft) and is the highest of the 'Central Dingle' Mountains.

The Dingle Peninsula (Irish: Corca Dhuibhne; anglicised as Corkaguiny or Corcaguiny, the name of the corresponding barony) is the northernmost of the major peninsulas in County Kerry. It ends beyond the town of Dingle at Dunmore Head, the westernmost point of mainland Ireland. It is separated from the Iveragh Peninsula to the south by the Dingle Bay.

Cé Bhréannain or Bréanainn (anglicized as Brandon) is a Gaeltacht village on the northern coast of the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland. It lies directly north of Dingle, at the foot of Mount Brandon and on the shores of Brandon Bay. The ancient Celtic harvest festival, a pre-Christian celebration called Féile Lughnasa, takes place yearly in the village and surrounding area on the last Sunday of July.
