Phoenixville Area High School

The Moses Coates Jr. Farm, also known as Meadow Brook Farm, is an historic, American home and farm complex that is located in Schuylkill Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Gay Street School is a historic school building located in Phoenixville, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It has two sections. The older section, the west wing, was built in 1874, and is a two-story, brick structure. The two-story east wing and three-story central section were added in 1883. The building features a clock and bell tower.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Phoenixville Historic District is a national historic district located at Phoenixville, Chester County, Pennsylvania. The district consists of the older part of Phoenixville, especially the former Phoenix Iron Works site and its employee and owner housing. At the time of nomination (c. 1987), the district contained 908 contributing building, 52 non-contributing buildings and one contributing structure (bridge). The district is "roughly bounded by Penn St., RR tracks, Fourth Ave., and Wheatland St." This historic district is the largest in Chester County.

Built in 1903, the "Colonial Opera House" became a preeminent venue for movies, traveling shows and live entertainment throughout the 20th century. The Phoenix Iron Works (1855: Phoenix Iron Company; 1949: Phoenix Iron & Steel Company; 1955: Phoenix Steel Corporation), located in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, was a manufacturer of iron and related products during the 19th century and early 20th century. Phoenix Iron Company was a major producer of cannon for the Union Army during the American Civil War. The company also produced the Phoenix column, an advance in construction material. Company facilities are a core component of the Phoenixville Historic District, a National Register of Historic Places site that was in 2006 recognized as a historic landmark by ASM International.

The Sphere College Project is a project to create a high-quality, financially accessible educational institution for adults. It was founded in April 2009 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania to provide education to adults who do not fit the prevailing model of higher education. The Sphere College Project is not currently a degree-granting institution.

White Horse Farm, also known as the Elijah F. Pennypacker House, is a historic home and farm located in Schuylkill Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. The original section was built around 1770. In the 19th century, it was the home of abolitionist Elijah F. Pennypacker and served as a station on the Underground Railroad. The farm was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The Matthias Pennypacker Farm, also known as the Tinker Dam Farm, is an historic, American farmhouse that is located in Schuylkill Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Phoenixville station was a former train station in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. It served as a station on the Schuylkill Branch of the Pennsylvania Railroad. The station was closed and demolished by the late 1980s.

Schuylkill Friends Meeting House is a Quaker meeting house located on North Whitehorse Road in the Schuylkill Township section of Chester County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. This Meeting House is 2.5 miles west of the Valley Forge Post Office. Originally Charlestown Friends Meeting, the name was changed in 1826 when Charlestown Township was split.Chester County Archive road dockets indicate there was a Meeting House in 1802. The east (Worship) room was completed in 1816.Schuylkill Friends Meeting for Worship is every Sunday at 10:00 am. It is part of the Caln Quarterly Meeting of the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends.
