Apoquindo (Runasimi Apuk-kintu flowers for the deity) is the name of a river and pre-Columbian settlement located east of the city of Santiago de Chile, at the foot of the foothills, in the present town of Las Condes. This settlement later became known as the Pueblo de Indios in place names Apoquindo and transferred to an estate, the Mount Apoquindo, the Apoquindo Waterfall, the Apoquindo Avenue, to the district San Carlos de Apoquindo, the Apoquindo College and other geographical landmarks and urban community. The limits of Apoquindo are: on the north by Mapocho River in the east of Sierra de Ramon with Provincia Mount and La Cruz Mount, south of Quebrada de Ramon and the western Los Domínicos Square. At present, these limits are not as formal as the Avenida Apoquindo extends much further west (Canal San Carlos) to the border with the municipality of Providencia.

The Apoquindo Waterfall is a waterfall in Waters of Ramon Natural Park (Spanish: Parque Natural Aguas de Ramón) on the east side of Santiago, Chile, near Apoquindo. It is fed by melting snow from Cerro San Ramon and Cerro Provincia. The waterfall has a main drop of about 25 meters (82 ft).

Estadio San Carlos de Apoquindo is a football stadium, in Las Condes in the metropolitan region of Santiago de Chile. It is used mostly for home matches stadium of the Chilean top club CD Universidad Católica which also owns the stadium. The stadium was built in 1988 and currently holds 14,768 people. At the club's beginning, all sports were on Santa Rosa de las Condes Stadium, which is a big sport centre that is going to be demolished and transported to San Carlos. The club president of the time Manuel Vélez Samaniego decided to open this sports complex. By 1945, the club played as the home team at the Independencia Stadium which was demolished because of the financial problems of the club, and started to play at Unión Española Stadium, the Santa Laura. In 1980, the idea of a new stadium comes out, the stadium was opened on September 4, 1988, the football stadium was not the whole complex, the stadium had also rugby, athletics and some other sport fields. The highest attendance for a football match at San Carlos de Apoquindo to date is 20,936, for a 0–0 tie between Universidad Católica and Cobreloa on November 1, 1992.

Scuola Italiana Vittorio Montiglio or Scuola Italiana Santiago is an Italian international school founded in 1891. Located at Las Condes, Santiago Province, Chile. It has scuola infanzia (preschool) through scuola secondaria di II grado (upper secondary school).The current campus has 52 classrooms, two tennis courts, three soccer (football) fields, two swimming pools, two bocce fields, and four multipurpose fields. The campus has a total of 27,000 square metres (290,000 sq ft) of constructed space. It opened on 24 March 2009."

The Santiago Baháʼí House of Worship or Santiago Baháʼí Temple is a Baháʼí House of Worship located in Santiago, Chile that opened in 2016. It is circular and composed of nine arched "sails" made from marble and cast glass. Like all Baháʼí Houses of Worship, it is open to all regardless of religion or any other distinction. The temple was designed by Canadian architect Siamak Hariri and has won several awards from Canadian and international architecture organizations.

The Jafetz Chaim Synagogue of Santiago (Spanish: Sinagoga Jafetz Jaim) is a Chilean house of worship of the Jewish community, located in Santiago, Chile. The synagogue follows the customs of Orthodox Judaism. The synagogue has two rabbis and offers daily religious services and celebrations of the Jewish calendar.

Estadio Municipal de Lo Barnechea is a stadium in Lo Barnechea, Santiago. It's Barnechea's home stadium. The stadium holds 2,500 people. The first football match played in the played in the stadium was a 0–0 draw between Barnechea and Deportes Iberia.

The International School Nido de Aguilas is a private, non-profit co-educational international school in Santiago, Chile. Founded in 1934 as the main international school in Santiago, it provides an English language education to both the city's international community and Chileans. Its student body consists of students from over 50 countries. The school serves students from the age of 3 through 12th grade, and high school students are offered International Baccalaureate courses using a North American-style program. Nido de Aguilas is one of the few schools in Chile that follows a northern hemisphere calendar, with classes running from July to June.
