Ryński Dwór

Ryńskie Pole [ˈrɨɲskʲɛ ˈpɔlɛ] is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Ryn, within Giżycko County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south of Ryn, 20 km (12 mi) south-west of Giżycko, and 71 km (44 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Ryn [rɨn] (German: Rhein) is a town in northeastern Poland located 19 km (12 mi) southwest of Giżycko, in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in Masuria. Until the reorganization of 1999 it had been assigned to Suwałki Voivodeship. It had a population of 3,062 inhabitants as of December 31, 2004. Ryn is located between Lake Ryn and Lake Ołów. Among the notable landmarks of the town are a former Ordensburg castle of the Teutonic Knights (erected ca. 1337) and a 19th-century Dutch windmill. Below the castle in the center of the town, a subterranean channel connects the Matussek pond, a shoaled bay of Lake Ołów, with Lake Ryn and the pond of a mill built by the Teutonic Knights.

Gmina Ryn is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Giżycko County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. Its seat is the town of Ryn, which lies approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) south-west of Giżycko and 71 km (44 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn. The gmina covers an area of 211.21 square kilometres (81.5 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 5,986 (out of which the population of Ryn amounts to 3,006, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 2,980).

It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of Ryn, 16 km (10 mi) south-west of Giżycko, and 73 km (45 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn. Friedrich Baltrusch was born in the village in 1876.

Bachorza [baˈxɔʐa] is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Ryn, within Giżycko County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) east of Ryn, 15 km (9 mi) south-west of Giżycko, and 75 km (47 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn. Before 1945, the settlement was part of Germany (East Prussia) and known as Wiesenthal.
