Galleria Office Towers

The Williams Tower (originally named the Transco Tower) is a 64-story, 1.4 million square feet (130,000 m2) class A postmodern office tower located in the Uptown District of Houston, Texas. The building was designed by New York–based John Burgee Architects with Philip Johnson in association with Houston-based Morris-Aubry Architects (now known as Morris Architects). Construction began in August 1981, and the building was opened in 1983. The tower is among Houston's most visible buildings as the 4th-tallest in Texas, and the 44th-tallest in the United States. The Williams Tower is the tallest building in Houston outside of Downtown Houston, and is the tallest skyscraper in the United States outside of a city's central business district. It has been referred to as the "Empire State Building of the south".

The Galleria, stylized theGalleria and also known as the Houston Galleria, is an upscale mixed-use urban development and shopping mall located in the Uptown District of Houston, Texas, United States. The development consists of a retail complex, as well as the Galleria Office Towers complex, two Westin hotels, and a private health club. The office towers and hotels are separately owned and managed from the mall. The mall features Macy's, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue. With 3 million square feet (280,000 m2) of space that includes 2,400,838 square feet (223,045.1 m2) of gross leasable area with 400 stores, the Galleria is the largest mall in Texas and the seventh largest shopping mall in the United States.

The Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park, formerly the Williams Waterwall and the Transco Waterwall, is a multi-story sculptural fountain that sits opposite the south face of Williams Tower in the Uptown District of Houston. The fountain and its surrounding park were built as an architectural amenity to the adjacent tower. Both the fountain and tower were designed by John Burgee Architects with Philip Johnson. Originally privately owned in common with the office tower, the waterwall and the surrounding land were purchased by the Uptown Houston Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone, a non-profit local government corporation, in 2008 to ensure the long-term preservation of the waterwall and park. The fountain currently operates between 10 am and 9 pm.

Lakes on Post Oak is a commercial complex located in Uptown Houston, Texas, United States. The complex includes the 19-story 3000 Post Oak Boulevard, the 22-story 3040 Post Oak Boulevard, and the 17-story 3050 Post Oak Boulevard. Each building has a dedicated parking garage. Together the buildings, on a 23-acre (93,000 m2) site, have 1,200,000 square feet (110,000 m2) of Class A office space.

The Four Corners Office/Retail Complex is an office complex in Uptown Houston, Texas. The complex, with a total of 395,473 square feet (36,740.6 m2) of office space and 28,290 square feet (2,628 m2) of retail space, sits on 7.5 acres (3.0 ha) of land. The buildings include the 11 story TeleCheck Plaza, the 10 story 5333 Westheimer Road, the 21,120 square feet (1,962 m2) retail tenant building Sage Plaza, the single story 8,800 square feet (820 m2) Savoy Salons, and a 3,892 square feet (361.6 m2) single story Region's Bank with a drive-through. The complex is located at the southwest corner of Westheimer Road and Sage, taking one full square block across the street from The Galleria.

Post Oak Central is a skyscraper complex in Uptown Houston, Texas, United States.The 17-acre (69,000 m2) Philip Johnson-designed complex includes three 24-story buildings, 1 Post Oak Central (2000 Post Oak Boulevard), 2 Post Oak Central (1980 Post Oak Boulevard), and 3 Post Oak Central (1990 Post Oak Boulevard), and a parking garage. The complex includes 1,300,000 square feet (120,000 m2) of Class A office space and retail. The complex includes a 90,000-square-foot (8,400 m2) retail center and parking for 4,200 cars.

Uptown (more commonly called The Galleria Area) is a business district in Houston, located 6.2 miles (10.0 km) west of Downtown and is centered along Post Oak Boulevard and Westheimer Road (Farm to Market Road 1093). The Uptown District is roughly bounded by Woodway Drive to the north, the I-610 (West Loop) to the east, Richmond Avenue to the south, and Yorktown Street to the west. It covers 1,010 acres (410 ha).At 23.6 million square feet (2.19 million square meters) of office space, the Uptown District is the 17th-largest business district in the United States, comparable in size to the downtowns of Denver and Pittsburgh. The district is home to approximately 2,000 companies and represents more than 11 percent of Houston's total office space.

The Mercer West Tower is a 30-story, 401 ft (122 m) high-rise condominium building located on Sage Street in the uptown district of Houston, Texas, United States. The building is the first of two towers that are part of the Mercer Towers complex. The tower is the 45th tallest building in the city.

River Oaks District is an outdoor shopping complex in Houston, Texas, which opened October 1, 2015. It consists of 252,000 square feet of retail space with an iPic movie theater. Instead of a large anchor store it has multiple smaller high-end anchors. The layout is designed for strolling with heavily landscaped walkways, tree-lined streets, and curbside and garage parking. Restaurants and cafes are distributed throughout.

BLVD Place is a mixed-use development located in Uptown Houston, Houston, Texas, United States, encompassing 20 acres at the intersection of Post Oak Boulevard and San Felipe. The development is the largest in Uptown with over 1.8 million square feet with 124,644 sq ft (11,579.8 m2) of retail space and 92,234 sq ft (8,568.8 m2) of office space. BLVD Place is home to Whole Foods Market and numerous upscale shops, boutiques, and restaurants. Phase II of the development contains about 211,000 sq ft (19,600 m2) of retail, restaurant, and office space, and is 99.9% leased. Phase I, including 70,000 sq ft (6,500 m2) of retail and office space, was completed in 2009. It is located on the former site of a strip mall and a 1972 mall originally called the Saks Fifth Avenue Center of Fashion (later "Pavilion at Post Oak").

Yia Yia Mary's (sometimes referred to as Yia Yia Mary's Greek Kitchen and Yia Yia Mary's Mediterranean Kitchen) was a Greek restaurant with two locations in Houston, in the U.S. state of Texas. Pappas Restaurants opened the Uptown Houston restaurant in 2004, and second Yia Yia Mary's began operating at William P. Hobby Airport in 2015. The restaurants served Greek cuisine including seafood and received a generally positive reception. Both locations closed in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
