The Malcolm Moos Health Sciences Tower, informally known as the Moos Tower is a building on the East Bank of the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Inside Moos Tower are labs and faculty offices for the College of Dentistry and a Caribou Coffee with a designated study lounge. The entrance of Biomedical library can also be found in Moos Tower. Moos Tower is the tallest building on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus. It is a noted example of Brutalist architecture.

The Geometry Center was a mathematics research and education center at the University of Minnesota. It was established by the National Science Foundation in the late 1980s and closed in 1998. The focus of the Center's work was the use of computer graphics and visualization for research and education in pure mathematics and geometry.The Center's founding director was Al Marden. Richard McGehee directed the Center during its final years. The Center's governing board was chaired by David P. Dobkin.

East Bank station is a light rail station along the Green Line in Minneapolis, Minnesota, located on Washington Avenue on the East Bank campus of the University of Minnesota. It is located between Union Street and Harvard Street. This is south of the Transportation and Safety Building and north of Moos Tower and Weaver-Densford Hall.Washington Avenue on the East Bank was converted into a transit mall when the light-rail line was being built. Construction began in the area in May 2011, and the station opened along with the rest of the line in 2014.

The University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy is the pharmacy school of the University of Minnesota. It has two campus locations: in Minneapolis and Duluth, Minnesota. The University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy is part of one of the largest Academic Health Centers (AHC) in the United States. This center allows health professionals to train collaboratively during the course of their training programs. The Gopher Way is a system of discontinuous tunnels and skyways on the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus which connects many buildings. The system is open during the normal business hours of the buildings it occupies, while some portions are open 24 hours a day. Access policies are posted at the entrances of connected buildings. It is one of three skyway/tunnel systems in the Twin Cities area. The other two occupy both downtown Minneapolis and downtown St. Paul. The system is segmented into eight parts: the West Bank; the Knoll and Mall areas; the Health and Gateway areas; and five smaller segments on the St. Paul campus. Parking structures are also connected to the Gopher Way. It is entirely possible for one to park, attend classes, eat lunch, and drive home without setting foot outdoors, but given the discontinuous nature of it, few people actually do.

The University of Minnesota School of Public Health, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a professional school of the University of Minnesota. The school offers 16 masters programs and four doctoral programs, which culminate in one of the following degrees: Master of Public Health (M.P.H.), Master of Healthcare Administration (M.H.A.), Master of Science (M.S.), or Doctoral (Ph.D.). There are also many dual degree programs, such as those with the Law School, the School of Nursing, the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs and School of Social Work. The School of Public Health was founded in 1944, although public health courses have been offered at the University of Minnesota since its inception in 1874. The School's faculty coordinated the pioneering Seven Countries Study directed by Professors Ancel Keys and Henry Blackburn. U.S. News & World Report consistently ranks the UMN School of Public Health among the top 10 schools of public health in the country. Most recently in 2021, the school was ranked 11th. In 2019, the publication ranked the schools' Healthcare Administration program as #2 in the nation, up from #3 in 2015.

Northrop Field was the on-campus stadium of the Minnesota Golden Gophers football team from 1899 to 1923. The original field had seating of around 3,000 and was named for University President Cyrus Northrop. After the 1902 season, the playing field was moved and new seating was added that allowed for crowds of up to 20,000. The stadium was sometimes referred to as Greater Northrop Field after 1902. In 1903, the first season at the enlarged field, the Gophers played the Michigan Wolverines in the first Little Brown Jug game. The stadium continued on as the football team's home until the end of the 1923 season. The U of M then built Memorial Stadium and moved there in 1924. The football team played at various fields on campus and around Minneapolis, including the field next to the University of Minnesota Armory and the downtown Athletic Park next to the West Hotel, from 1882 to 1898.

The William I. Fine Theoretical Physics Institute is a research institute in the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering. FTPI was largely the work of physics Professor Emeritus, Stephen Gasiorowicz and University alumnus and Twin-Cities real-estate developer William I. Fine. The Institute officially came into existence in January 1987. FTPI faculty consists of six permanent members: Andrey V. Chubukov, Alex Kamenev, Keith Olive, Maxim Pospelov, Mikhail Shifman, and Boris Shklovskii.The William I. Fine Theoretical Physics Institute has on Oversight Committee consisting of ten members. The Oversight Committee is the board of directors that make decisions concerning the staffing and budgeting of the Institute.

The Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP) is a center within the University of Minnesota that focuses on addressing public health preparedness and emerging infectious disease response. It was founded in 2001 by Dr. Michael Osterholm, in order to "prevent illness and death from infectious diseases through epidemiological research and rapid translation of scientific information into real-world practical applications and solutions".It is not part of the Center for Disease Control or National Institute of Health.
