Union Hall is a historic commercial building located at North Salem, Westchester County, New York. It is impossible to trace its original owner and the date it was built due to omissions in the Land Records Office in White Plains. It was built around 1848 in the Italianate style. It is built into the side of a steep slope and has a two-story front facade and four stories at the rear. It is a rectangular, wood-frame building sheathed in unpainted clapboard. The building once functioned as a store, meeting hall, stagecoach stop, and residence. Also on the property there was a contributing carriage barn. However The Carriage Barn roof caved in due to heavy snows in January 1996 and was demolished in 2001. It is currently owned by Janis Menken.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

North Salem Town Hall is a historic town hall located at Salem Center, Westchester County, New York. It was built about 1770 by the DeLancey family as a private home. It has been used for governmental and educational functions since 1773. It is a three-story frame building, covered in clapboard, five bays wide and three bays deep on a fieldstone foundation in a vernacular Georgian style. It has a gambrel roof topped by a six-sided cupola. From 1790 to 1884 it housed the North Salem Academy and, after 1886, the town offices of North Salem, New York.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

As of the 2010 census, the population was 1,629.The community of Peach Lake is located on the northeastern side of a lake with the same name. The lake itself is in two counties. Lakes West is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Ridgefield, Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. It is in the northern part of the town on the north side of Ridgebury Mountain and extending north into a valley occupied by Lake Windwing. It is bordered to the east by the Lakes East CDP and to the northwest by Ridgebury. Lakes West was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

Ridgebury is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Ridgefield, Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. It occupies the north end of the town of Ridgefield and is bordered to the north and northeast by the city of Danbury and to the west by Putnam and Westchester counties in New York. The name is a portmanteau of Ridgefield and Danbury. All political power in Ridgebury is currently held by the government of Ridgefield. Ridgebury was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census. Early in its history, Ridgebury tried to secede from Ridgefield, however, this effort failed. Today, many Ridgeburians feel that the government of Ridgefield neglects to address much needed infrastructure repairs in Ridgebury, and thus there is a growing animosity between Ridgebury and Ridgefield. Some Ridgeburians have gone so far as to support the creation of an independent Town of Ridgebury with complete political separation from Ridgefield. Compared to the rest of Ridgefield, the infrastructure of Ridgebury is worse off due to neglect from the town government. Frequent potholes on Ridgeburian roads, particularly on Ridgebury road, has been a pressing issue in the village of Ridgebury. For many Ridgeburians, the lack of road repairs is the main source of frustration between them and the Ridgefield government. In October of 2021, posters advocating for Ridgeburian independence were placed around the Ridgebury area.

March Route of Rochambeau's Army: Ridgebury Road is a historic site in Ridgefield, Connecticut. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.It is along the march route taken by French commander Rochambeau's troops in 1781. It's a 1600-foot section of the Ridgebury Road, and the defined property is about 50 feet wide, running from stone walls on either side. It is known with certainty to have been traversed by Rochambeau's army in 1781, and the current appearance in this section is much the same now as it was then.It's one of multiple properties whose possible listing on the National Register was covered in a 2001 study.

Round Pond is located in Ridgefield, Connecticut, USA. Formed by a receding glacier, it is public and is 32 acres (130,000 m2) in size. The pond drains across the state boundary to the state of New York into the Cross River Reservoir, providing an initial flow to New York City. Once used as a reservoir for city water for Ridgefield, the spring-fed aqueduct is no longer used for that purpose. The pond gets an average of 4.44 inches (113 mm) of precipitation per month, and is at an elevation of 797 feet (243 m) above sea level. A fishing ban enacted in the mid-19th century stands today, and the pond is no longer available for fishing.

Mead Memorial Chapel is a historic Episcopal chapel at 2 Chapel Road in the hamlet of Waccabuc, town of Lewisboro, Westchester County, New York. It was designed by Hobart B. Upjohn (1876-1949) and built in 1905–1906 in a late Gothic Revival style. It is a rectangular stone building with a steep slate roof. A wing was added in 1929, known as Mead Memorial Hall, and it houses the Mead family archives. It features a bell tower pierced by Gothic arch shaped louvered windows. It was built by Sarah Frances Studwell Mead as a memorial to her husband, George Washington Mead (1827-1899). The Mead family also owned the separately listed The Homestead. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.
