Malanów, Greater Poland Voivodeship

Gmina Malanów is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Turek County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. Its seat is the village of Malanów, which lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) south-west of Turek and 113 km (70 mi) south-east of the regional capital Poznań. The gmina covers an area of 107.17 square kilometres (41.4 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 6,451. Malanów is a rural area, characterized by significant forestation (covering about 25% of the gmina's territory).
