Citipointe Christian College

Citipointe Church, formerly Christian Outreach Centre Mansfield, is a Pentecostal Christian church founded in 1974. It is the founding church of the Christian Outreach Centre network, now known as the International Network of Churches. The founding campus is located in the Brisbane suburb of Carindale, Queensland, in Australia. The church has multiple locations in south-east Queensland, as well as in New Zealand, Bulgaria and the US. Citipointe Worship, formerly Citipointe Live, is the contemporary Pentecostal praise and worship group of the church, formed in 2004. They have released at least 13 albums, which are streamed on Spotify.

Brisbane Adventist College is an independent Seventh-day Adventist co-educational early learning, primary and secondary day school located in the Brisbane suburbs of Mansfield (primary school) and Wishart (secondary school). Part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system, the world's second largest Christian school system. Enrolment is open to families of all faiths. Brisbane Adventist College started as a primary school in 1966. The primary school was one of the first established in the Mount Gravatt area. A secondary school was established in 1972 along Wishart Road. Both campuses grew steadily over the years. Then in 1999 they were amalgamated, along with the Early Learning Centre, into one college. Affectionately known as BAC, the school continues to provide Christian education for students from our wider community. The current student catchment is wide-ranging and extends from Ormeau and Ipswich to the Bay area.

Mount Petrie is a mountain in the south east of the city of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The 170 metre rise is sometimes referred to as Petrie Hill. It elevates semi-rural residential parts in the suburbs of Mackenzie and Burbank. The mountain was named after Andrew Petrie Superintendent of Works, Moreton Bay Colony, who climbed it to get his bearings when lost in the bush in the company of the Commandant of Moreton Bay Colony Major Cotton in 1838. It is believed that this was the first climbing of this mountain by white men.The southern summit of the mountain has an abandoned triangulation station with a collapsed radio tower, while the top of the mountain has a trig tower for taking bearings and measurements. At the top of the mountain one can get great views of Brisbane and Moreton Bay. For many years the undeveloped bushland around this hilly area was empty, except for the occasional dirt track. This was partly due to the proximity to the Belmont Rifle Range, around which access is restricted for safety reasons. The bushlands near Mount Petrie are an important habitat for koala, wallaby, and echidna colonies.A few kilometres east of Mount Petrie is the Leslie Harrison Dam. This places the large hill in the catchment area for Redland City, another reason that development has been curtailed in this part of the city. The construction of permanent facilities for the Western Corridor Recycled Water Project in 2008 had a significant impact on the bushland on the mountain.The other two tallest mountains in Brisbane are Mount Coot-tha and Mount Gravatt. The Gateway Motorway passes a few kilometres to the west of the mountain.

It is located 13.1 kilometres (8.1 mi) by road south-east of the Brisbane GPO, and borders Belmont, Carina, Carina Heights, Mackenzie, Mansfield, Mount Gravatt East, and Tingalpa. In the 2016 census, Carindale recorded a population of 15,740 people.Notable features of the suburb include a large shopping centre - Westfield Carindale, the Pacific Golf Club, Belmont State School, Belmont Bushland Reserve, Belmont Private Hospital (psychiatric only) and Bulimba Creek. The Gateway Motorway borders the suburb. In addition to Indooroopilly in the west; Chermside on the north-side; and Upper Mount Gravatt on the south side, the suburb has been described as a mini-CBD.

Carindale bus station is located in Brisbane, Australia serving the suburb of Carindale and Westfield Carindale. It was first used on 11 March 1991, being officially opened on 1 July 1991. The station serves as a regional transport hub with services connecting to many major destinations including Brisbane City, Redland City, Brisbane Airport (DFO), the University of Queensland and Griffith University. Carindale is also a stop for the Great Circle Line bus routes which connect several major shopping centre destinations around Brisbane. For special events, shuttle buses travel from the bus station to major sporting venues such as the Gabba and Lang Park.

Westfield Carindale is a large shopping centre in Queensland located in the suburb of Carindale, east of Brisbane. The centre is one of the largest shopping centres in Australia. The centre contains over 450 specialty stores and almost 6,000 car parking spaces. Other features include a food court, a Brisbane City Council Library, and a state of the art luxury Glasshouse Dining Precinct.
