The William Hagerman Farmstead is a historic home located at Sharpsburg, Washington County, Maryland, United States. The house is a 2+1⁄2-story five-bay brick dwelling with a raised cellar. It features a double porch, three tiered, extending across the east gable end of the house. The house is an exceptionally intact example of an 1860s vernacular interpretation of the Italianate architecture.The William Hagerman Farmstead was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

Cedar Grove is a historic home located at Williamsport in Washington County, Maryland, United States. It is a two-story, four-bay brick-cased log dwelling with a central chimney built of stone and brick. The original part of the house was built about 1760, with later Federal-style additions. The house is likely one of the early tenement houses on Lord Baltimore's Conococheague Manor.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

Downsville is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in southwestern Washington County, Maryland, United States. Its population was 355 as of the 2010 census. It is located southeast of Williamsport on Maryland Route 63 and on Maryland Route 632, southwest of Hagerstown. It is officially included in the Hagerstown Metropolitan Area (Hagerstown-Martinsburg, MD-WV Metropolitan Statistical Area).

Power Plant and Dam No. 4 is a historic hydroelectric power generation station on the Potomac River, located near Shepherdstown on the county line between Berkeley and Jefferson County, West Virginia. The power plant is a tall one-story, limestone building on a high stone foundation. It is five bays long and has a gable roof. Dam 4 uses horizontal shaft turbines connected by rope drives to horizontal shaft generators. This plant is probably the last commercially operated rope-driven hydroelectric plant in the United States. The building is built into a hillside, so the main floor is the top floor. The power plant was originally built by the Martinsburg Electric Company.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.In 2013, the power plant was sold by FirstEnergy to Harbor Hydro Holdings LLC. The power plant has a rated capacity of 1.9 megawatts.

Jones Mill Run Historic District is a national historic district located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It encompasses one contributing building, one contributing site, and two contributing structures. They are the Thomas Swearingen House (c. 1760); site of the mill, including the stone foundation and head and tail races; and the double stone bridge. Thomas Swearingen House is a small limestone building in the Georgian style. Not only is it one of Berkeley County's oldest stone houses, but it has a unique fireplace that sits halfway out from the wall, rather than flat with the wall as with other stone houses in the county. It is the site of the first mill in West Virginia, built before 1734. When John Vanmeter received a King's Patent for the land in 1734 in what was then Virginia, the mill was already built. The nine-acre site is on Jones Mill Run, a tributary of the Potomac River.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Scrabble is an unincorporated community in Berkeley County, West Virginia, United States. According to the Geographic Names Information System, the community has been known as Hard Scrabble, Hard Scrabble Town, and Hardscrabble throughout its history. The community most likely was so named on account of treacherous local terrain.

The George Washington Hollida House is a brick house built c. 1842 near the village of Scrabble, West Virginia, United States. The Hollida (pronounced "Holiday") House is an example of an I-house with a five-bay front and a four-bay ell extending to the rear with Greek Revival detailing. The property includes several outbuildings and a bank barn. The Hollida house is included in the larger Scrabble Historic District, which encompasses the entire village.

Wild Goose Farm is a 173-acre (70 ha) farm complex near Shepherdstown, West Virginia, established in the early 19th century. The farm includes a large, irregularly-arranged main house, a Pennsylvania-style bank barn, a tenant house, and outbuildings including a spring house, smoke house, ice house, corn crib, water tower and a decorative pavilion.

The Daniel Donnelly House is a historic home located at Williamsport, Washington County, Maryland, United States. It is a Flemish bond brick, two-story dwelling on a prominent hill built about 1833. The house shows influence of the Federal and Greek Revival styles. Also on the property are a small garden house, shed, and summerhouse, all small late-20th century structures. The house is associated with the American Civil War Battle of Falling Waters, which took place July 13 and 14, 1863. The Civil War Sites Advisory Commission found the property to be the best preserved battlefield along the route of Robert E. Lee's retreat from Gettysburg.The Daniel Donnelly House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
