St. Agnes' Priory, Gavnø

Gavnø is a small island off the west coast of Zealand in Næstved Municipality, Denmark. Located some 6 km south-west of Næstved, it has an area of 5.6 km2, and, as of 1 January 2010, it has a population of 57. The name comes from Gapnø (Gap Island) as the straight between the island and Zealand was named Karlsgap.

The Suså or Susåen is a river in Denmark. It is the largest drainage system on the island of Zealand and the fifth largest in Denmark as a whole.

Næstved (Danish pronunciation: [ˈnestve̝ð]) is a town in the municipality of the same name, located in the southern part of the island of Zealand in Denmark. Næstved has several adult education centers, five elementary schools - and has at least one of each type of the four upper-second-level education centers. The city has the largest high school in Denmark, Næstved Gymnasium & HF.

The Wittusen House (Danish: Wittusens Gård) is a former merchant's house situated at the corner of Brogade and Møllegade in central Næstved, Denmark. The complex was constructed in 1842–1864 for Christian Martin Wittusen, a grain and timber merchant and Næstved's largest taxpayer in the years 1859–1871. It comprises a two-storey residential building in Brogade and a former warehouse in Møllegade as well as an actagonal grain kiln for drying the grain prior to storage. The three buildings were listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945.

The Old Town Hall in Næstved, Denmark, dates from about 1450. It was extended with an extra floor in the 16th century. It is the only Danish medieval town hall building which exists today. It is located next to St. Peter's Church.

Næstved Stadium (Danish: Næstved Stadion) is a multi-use stadium in Næstved, Denmark. It is known as MTM Service Park for sponsorship reasons. It is currently only used for football matches and is the home stadium of Næstved BK (until 1996 Næstved IF). The stadium was earlier used for motorcycle speedway races as well, often with crowds of around 20,000 or more. The stadium was opened in 1944 with a capacity of 20,000 spectators. After being renovated in 2002 it now holds 10,000 spectators, including 2,300 covered seats in the main stand.

Enø is a small Danish island off the south coast of Zealand between Karrebæk Fjord and Karrebæksminde Bugt. With an area of 3.4 square kilometres (1.3 square miles), as of 1 January 2010 it has a population of 297. It is some 5 kilometres (3 miles) long and up to 11 metres (36 feet) above sea level. Now part of Næstved Municipality, it is connected to Karrebæksminde, Zealand, by a road bridge. There are about 1,000 summerhouses and a holiday centre at Enø By on the northern part of the island. EnøOverdrev in the southern part is a nature reserve and bird sanctuary.

St Martin's Church (Danish: Sankt Mortens Kirke) is located in Næstved on the Danish island of Sealand. It is one of the city's medieval churches. Known from records since approximately 1280, it is believed to have been built and put into service around 1200. The building was constructed as the city's parish church. It is dedicated to St Martin of Tours considered its patron saint. It is one of the five Church of Denmark churches in Næstved; the other four are the St Peter's Church, St John's Church, Herlufsholm Church and Holsted Church. St Martin's Church and St Peter's Church are located on perpendicular streets, the former situated on Riddergade, while the latter is on Kobmagergade.

Næstved Museum is located in Helligåndshuset (House of the Holy Spirit) in Næstved, central Zealand, Denmark. Its collections trace the development of the area from the last ice age to the present. Highlights include an extensive collection of textiles and exhibitions of artefacts from the Kähler Ceramics Factory and from the Holmegaard Glass Factory.

Næstved Cavalry Barracks (Danish: Rytterkasernen), also known as Grønnegade Barracks (Danish: Grønnegades Kaserne), is a former military installation now operated as a cultural centre in Næstved, Denmark. Five of the buildings were listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945.

Næstved railway station (Danish: Næstved Station or Næstved Banegård) is the main railway station serving the town of Næstved in southern Zealand, Denmark. It is located in the centre of the town, on the eastern edge of the historic town centre, and immediately adjacent to the Næstved bus station. Næstved station is located on the main line South Line which connects Copenhagen with southern Zealand and the islands of Falster and Lolland. It is also the southern terminus of the Little South branch line from Køge to Næstved. The station opened in 1870, and its current station building designed by the architect Knud Tanggaard Seest was built between 1940 and 1943. The station offers direct regional train services to Copenhagen and Nykøbing Falster operated by the national railway company DSB.

St. Peter's Church (Danish: Sankt Peders Kirke) is located at Næstved on the Danish island of Zealand. St. Peter's is situated in the Næstved parish of the Diocese of Roskilde of the Church of Denmark. The church is one of Denmark's foremost Gothic buildings.
