Dudley North is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2019 by Marco Longhi, of the Conservative Party. Campaigns in the seat have resulted in a minimum of 30% of votes at each election consistently for the same two parties' choice for candidate, and the next highest-placed share having fluctuated between 5.5% and 24% of the vote since its creation: for differing parties, the highest placed of these having been the UK Independence Party. The seat attracted seven candidates in 1997 and 2015 and four in 2001. Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, the seat will be expanded to include the Dudley Borough ward of Brockmoor and Pensnett from Dudley South. As this seat is disappearing, the revised Dudley North constituency will be renamed Dudley, to be first contested at the next general election.

Dudley is a parliamentary constituency centred on the town of Dudley in Worcestershire (now in the West Midlands). It returns one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, elected by the first past the post system. The constituency existed between 1832 and 1974 and was re-established by the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies for the 2024 general election. The new constituency is based on the abolished Dudley North, with the addition of one ward from the also abolished Dudley South constituency.

The Church of St. James the Great is an Anglican church in the Lower Gornal area of Sedgley in the West Midlands, England. The church is Grade II listed, a status it received on 11 March 1996. It is located within the Anglican Diocese of Worcester.Construction of the church commenced in 1815 and was completed in 1817 although it came into use in 1823. It was designed by Thomas Lee and built of local yellow stone with slate and tile roofs. The church was enlarged in 1837 to add north and south porches. It was refitted in 1849 with the addition of a chancel. The chancel was rebuilt and an organ was added in 1899 and in 1930, the top section of the tower was rebuilt. The north window of the apse was produced by Ninian Comper in 1902.It is not to be confused with St James's Church at Eve Hill in nearby Dudley, some two miles away.

Gornal Athletic Football Club is a football club based in Lower Gornal, Dudley, in the West Midlands county in England. They are currently members of the West Midlands (Regional) League Division One and play at the Garden Walk Stadium.

Gornal is a village and electoral ward in the Dudley Metropolitan Borough, in the West Midlands of England. It encompasses the three historical villages of Upper Gornal, Lower Gornal, and Gornal Wood. Gornal was historically part of Staffordshire, prior to the creation of the West Midlands County in 1974. Gornal is 11 miles from Birmingham. The three Gornal villages were originally a part of the ancient manor of Sedgley until 1894, when the area became part of Sedgley Urban District. In 1966, along with most of the rest of Sedgley, it was merged into the County Borough of Dudley. Since 1974, it has been part of the larger Metropolitan Borough of Dudley. Gornal stone, a variety of limestone, originates in Gornal.Himley Hall and Park and Baggeridge Country Park are notable nearby visitor attractions.

The Russells Hall Estate is a residential area of Dudley, West Midlands, England, approximately one mile to the west of Dudley town centre. On Ordnance Survey maps the area appears as Russell's Hall.The estate was once the grounds to Russells Hall, a large country house. The hall stood on the land until the early 1800s, where Grange Park is now. The area was extensively mined for coal during the Industrial Revolution, which meant the district became highly industrialised in the heyday of the Black Country's industrial past. This process ceased in about 1950 when the local council earmarked the area for housing development, to rehouse hundreds of families from the dilapidated 19th-century terraces in the town centre around The Inhedge and Stafford Street. The land at Russells Hall was then made safe and allowed to settle until house building commenced. The first house was completed and let in 1958, and by 1966 the estate was complete, consisting of several hundred council houses and flats as well as some private houses, mostly around Scott's Green Close on the south side of the estate. Several more private and council properties, including about 30 council bungalows, were added in the 1970s around Middlepark Road. Until the creation of the traffic island near Russells Hall Hospital, it was possible to see part of the blocked-up portal of a bridge which took a railway line under Kingswinford Road.

Barrow Hill Local Nature Reserve is a local nature reserve situated in Pensnett in the county of West Midlands, England. Its most distinctive feature, Barrow Hill, is the eroded remnant of a high level igneous intrusion that was formed 315 million years ago during the Carboniferous period. The reserve was created in 2005.

Russells Hall Hospital is an NHS general hospital located in Dudley, West Midlands, England, managed by the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust. The hospital is south-west of the town centre on the A4101 road, which connects to the Kingswinford area of the borough.

Bishop Milner Catholic College (previously Bishop Milner Catholic School) is a Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in the Eve Hill area of Dudley, West Midlands, England. Enrolment includes students who live beyond Dudley's borders, mostly in Sandwell. The college also has enrolled a number of non-Catholic pupils.

Pegasus Academy (formerly known as Holly Hall School and Holly Hall Maths and Computing College) is a mixed secondary school located in the Holly Hall area of Dudley, West Midlands, England. Situated by the Scotts Green roundabout near the Russells Hall Estate, it was originally opened in 1968 to replace an earlier, smaller building several hundred yards further along the road towards Brierley Hill. It was originally a secondary modern school until adopting comprehensive status in September 1975, three years after the entry age was increased from 11 to 12. The school reverted to being an 11-16 comprehensive in September 1990. The school had grant-maintained status in the 1990s, before receiving Mathematics and Computing College specialist status in September 2002. In December 2007, plans were unveiled by Dudley council for the school to be rebuilt and change to academy status, which would have made it the first school of its kind in the borough. The plan also included taking in some pupils from Pensnett High School, which was earmarked for closure with other pupils also transferring to The Crestwood School at Kingswinford. However, these plans were scrapped by the local council in March 2008 as the school was deemed "too successful" for academy status. However the school was converted to academy status in 2011. In September 2017 the academy joined The Dudley Academies Trust, under the sponsorship of Dudley College. It was renamed the Pegasus Academy the following September.
