The Grace Episcopal Church Complex is a historic Episcopal church located at Taylor's Island, Dorchester County, Maryland, United States. The complex consists of three frame structures: a schoolhouse, chapel of ease, and Grace Episcopal Church. The chapel of ease dates from the first quarter of the 19th century and is a 20 foot by 30 foot frame structure in the Carpenter Gothic style. The school building was moved to its present site by the Grace Foundation in 1955, and was the first school house in Dorchester County and was built and used on Taylor's Island. Grace Episcopal Church is a frame structure built in the late 19th century in the Victorian Gothic style.Grace Episcopal Church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Taylors Island is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Dorchester County, Maryland, United States, in the state's Eastern Shore region. The population was 173 at the 2010 census. It is known for hunting, crabbing and fishing. Ridgeton Farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. Bethlehem Methodist Episcopal Church and Grace Episcopal Church Complex were listed in 1979.

Bethlehem Methodist Episcopal Church is a historic Methodist church located at Bethlehem, Taylor's Island, Dorchester County, Maryland. It was built in 1857, and is a gable-front common bond brick church across the road from a mid-19th century cemetery. The Gothic Revival Victorian church has an octagonal belfry above which is an octagonal dome with a spire superimposed and covered in copper, making it look like an inverted ice cream cone. It is the best example of a mid-19th century Methodist chapel in Dorchester County and retains its original interior.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Slaughter Creek is a 6.7-mile-long (10.8 km) saltwater creek that drains into the Little Choptank River. The creek is 0.3 miles (0.5 km) wide at its mouth. It separates Taylors Island, Maryland from the mainland.

It is owned by the Draper Holdings Business Trust, as part of a cluster with CBS/Fox affiliate WBOC-TV (channel 16), NBC affiliate WRDE-LD (channel 31), Telemundo affiliate WBOC-LD (channel 42), and sister radio stations WBOC-FM, WTDK, WAAI and WRDE-FM. The station broadcasts from its studios in Cambridge Marketplace. WCEM-FM's transmitter is located in Cambridge. In addition to its usual music programming, WCEM-FM broadcasts Baltimore Ravens games and little league baseball all-star games during the summer.

Cove Point LNG Terminal is an offshore liquid natural gas shipping terminal operated by BHE GT&S, a Berkshire Hathaway Energy company. It is located near Lusby, Maryland, United States, on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay, and exports liquefied natural gas (LNG) and also stores gas. LNG is exported on specially designed ships known as LNG carriers. The shipping dock (38.402°N 76.384°W / 38.402; -76.384 (Dominion Cove Point LNG shipping dock)) is located about 2.3 kilometres (1.4 mi) from the plant's storage tanks (38.389°N 76.408°W / 38.389; -76.408) and is connected by pipes in an underwater tunnel. The site also contains a liquefaction plant. BHE GT&S has full operational control of the facility, sharing its 25% ownership with Dominion Energy (50%) and Brookfield Infrastructure Partners (25%), investing through its Super Core-infrastructure fund. In July 2023, Berkshire Hathaway Energy agreed to acquire a further 50% stake in the venture for $3.3 billion in cash. After that, Buffett's company will own 75%. 25% stay with Brookfield.By August 2022, Cove Point had safely loaded 300 commercial cargo for export since exporting began in Spring 2018, reaching 28 countries. Calvert Cliffs State Park is a public recreation area in Lusby, Calvert County, Maryland, that protects a portion of the cliffs that extend for 24 miles along the eastern flank of the Calvert Peninsula on the west side of Chesapeake Bay from Chesapeake Beach southward to Drum Point. The state park is known for the abundance of mainly Middle Miocene sub-epoch fossils that can be found on the shoreline.
