Glenwyvis distillery is a Scotch whisky and gin distillery located in Dingwall, Scotland.The distillery is owned by a group of crowdfunders and is entirely powered by renewable energies like hydro, wind, solar, and chip biomass heating systems. Its name comes from the idea of carrying on old traditions of the past and contemplates two previous distilleries of the area, the Ben Wyvis in Dingwall and the Glenskiach in Evanton. The distillery is not open to the public and does not have a visitor centre at present.

County Buildings is a municipal structure in the High Street, Dingwall, Highland, Scotland. The complex was the headquarters of Ross and Cromarty County Council and is currently used by The Highland Council as offices for the provision of local services.

Dingwall Academy is the largest secondary school in the Highlands of Scotland, with an enrolment of 1048 pupils as of August 2018. The Academy is situated in the centre of Dingwall and brings in pupils from Conon Bridge, Maryburgh, Muir of Ord, Strathpeffer, Evanton and the surrounding area. The school's motto is the Latin "Salve Corona" which translates as "Hail the Crown".

Tulloch Castle is located in the town of Dingwall in the Highlands of Scotland. It dates at least to the late 14th century as the birthplace of Mariota Leslie, daughter of Euphemia I, countess of Ross. Mariota was the wife of Donald Macdonald, Lord of the Isles. Several of Euphemia's children by Walter Leslie were born at Tulloch Castle.Over the years, the castle has served as a family home for members of the Bain of Tulloch family, Clan Davidson, and Vickers family. The castle was used as a hospital after the evacuation of Dunkirk, and then as a hostel for the local education authority. It is currently used as a hotel and conference centre.

Maryburgh (Scottish Gaelic: Baile Màiri) is a village in the Highland council area of Scotland, 2 miles (3.2 km) south of Dingwall. It is situated on the northern bank of the River Conon. The village of Conon Bridge is on the other side of the river.

The Dingwall Stone is a Class I Pictish stone located in Dingwall, Easter Ross, Scotland. It is thought by some to be of Bronze Age origin, and contains several cup and ring marks alleged to date from that period. If it had been used in the Bronze Age, the Picts later reused it. On one side it has a crescent and v-rod, and on the other a double disc and Z-rod with another two crescents and Z-rods below. It was being used as a lintel over a doorway in the church when it was identified in 1880.

Dingwall Town Hall is a municipal structure in the High Street, Dingwall, Highland, Scotland. The structure, which is now used as a museum, is a Category B listed building.

The Battle of Dingwall was a Scottish clan battle said to have taken place in the year 1411, in Dingwall in the Scottish Highlands. It was fought between the Clan Mackay and the Clan Donald.

Dingwall (Scots: Dingwal, Scottish Gaelic: Inbhir Pheofharain [ˈiɲɪɾʲ ˈfjɔhəɾan]) is a town and a royal burgh in the Highland council area of Scotland. It has a population of 5,491. It was an east-coast harbour that now lies inland. Dingwall Castle was once the biggest castle north of Stirling. On the town's present-day outskirts lies Tulloch Castle, parts of which may date back to the 12th century. In 1411 the Battle of Dingwall is said to have taken place between the Clan Mackay and the Clan Donald.

The Battle of Mam Garvia, took place in 1187 in Northern Scotland. Domnall Meic Uilleim had resisted the King of Scots since at least 1179, he even had a claim to the throne as a grandson of King Donnchad II of Scotland. Lochlann, Lord of Galloway led an army north where according to Roger of Hoveden they defeated the Meic Uilleim, slew Domnall and cut off his head and carried it south to present it to King William. The actual site of the battle has been quoted as being either in Ross or near Moray, lately it has been reasoned to be in Strath Garve near Dingwall.

St. Lawrence's Church, Dingwall is a Roman Catholic church in the town of Dingwall, Ross-shire, in Scotland and is a part of the RC Diocese of Aberdeen. The building is significant for the high quality of its stained glass windows and carved woodwork.

The Highland Theological College (HTC; Scottish Gaelic: Colaiste Diadhachd na Gàidhealtachd) is located in Dingwall, Scotland. It is part of the University of the Highlands and Islands. In 1994 the Highland Theological Institute was set up with the assistance of Moray College and based in a small building in its grounds. The initial staff team was made up of two Church of Scotland ministers Andrew McGowan and Hector Morrison. In 1999 they moved to premises that had been acquired in the centre of Dingwall and the name was changed to Highland Theological College (HTC).In 2006 it was approved by the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland as a college for the training of Church of Scotland ministers. Theologically, it is within the evangelical and Reformed Christian tradition. Hector Morrison has been the principal since 2009.In 2014 there were 141 students.In 2015, the college opened a satellite site in Glasgow.
