Attore North, also known as Attore Angadi, or just Attore, is part of Kolazhy grama panchayat, in Puzhakkal block, in Thrissur taluk, in Thrissur district. It is located 6.5 kilometres (4.0 mi) north of Thrissur city. Attore North is where the settlement originated and constituted the main village, hence the name, "Attore angadi" (meaning "Attore village"). This is planned to host universities for Evidence Based Medicine, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha and Yunani systems of medicine.

Government Medical College Thrissur (also known colloquially as Thrissur Medical College) is a government medical school situated in the city of Thrissur in the Indian state of Kerala. Established in 1982, it is the fifth oldest medical college in the state and the fourth most popular choice for medical undergraduate students in the state.It is affiliated to the Kerala University of Health Sciences which itself began functioning in the campus in 2009. Spread over an area of more than 250 acres (100 ha), it is located in the serene surroundings of Mulagunnathukavu (M.G. Kavu) 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) away from Thrissur downtown. The college was selected as the best medical college in Kerala by the Swasthya conference 2021.

Mundayur Mahadeva Temple (Malayalam: മുണ്ടയൂർ മഹാദേവർ ക്ഷേത്രം) is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva at Anjur of Thrissur District in Kerala state in India. The temple is situated near to SH-69 (Thrissur - Kuttippuram road) at Mundayur village. The presiding deity of the temple is Shiva, located in main Sanctum Sanctorum, facing East. According to folklore, sage Parashurama has installed the idol of Lord Shiva. It is the part of the 108 Shiva Temples of Kerala. Kozhikode Zamorin's army meditated on the Lord Shiva of Mundayur Temple and went out to battle. It was because such a practice was presumed that Lord Shiva of Mundayur saved them.
