Dmitrovsky District (Russian: Дми́тровский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the sixteen in Northern Administrative Okrug of the federal city of Moscow, Russia. The area of the district is 6.8397 square kilometres (2.6408 sq mi). As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 87,779.

Khovrino District (Russian: райо́н Хо́врино) is an administrative district (raion), one of the sixteen in Northern Administrative Okrug of the federal city of Moscow, Russia. It is located along the Likhoborka River. The area is 5.727 square kilometres (2.211 sq mi) As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 80,792.

Hovrinskaya hospital (Russian: Ховринская больница; HZB, Hovrinka, Umbrella, Unfinished) was an abandoned building in the Hovrino District of Moscow in the Hovrino area, near the railway station of the same name. The building had a design which was also common to many others found within the Soviet Union. The hospital was designed to resemble the shape of a star, with branching corridors at the end of each point. The three wings of the building came together at a central point to form three courtyards with porches. Placed adjacent to the main building was an annex which housed the pathology department. Due to the unfinished construction, parts of the building only contained fragments of walls and floors, with the basement was also prone to flooding. Explanations for the abandonment of construction range from a lack of funding to possible shortcomings which emerged in the project and lead to its abandonment. According to a map of Moscow from 1952, the hospital was to be built by the river Likhoborka and surrounding wetlands with sewage treatment facilities located nearby. The abandoned building was well known among fans of urban legends as one of the most mysterious places in Moscow. Among urban explorers, the hospital earned the name "The Umbrella"' due to its resemblance to the logo of the Umbrella Corporation from the video game and film series Resident Evil and its similarity to the biohazard symbol.It is the title-place of one of the chapters of the book I Love Russia: Reporting from a Lost Country by Elena Kostyuchenko, in which many of its inhabitants and stories are portrayed.

Businovo District (Russian: Буси́ново) was formerly a district in the north of Moscow, Russia. The village of Busino (Бусино) was first mentioned in the 16th century ; its name is derived from "Ivan Busa", the name of a local merchant in 1547, whose son was known as "Busin". The record books of 1584–1586 referred to the village as "Kokorevo (Кокорево), also known as Businovo". In 1685, the village was a part of the lands owned by the Novodevichy Convent. In 1912, the village comprised 75 households. In 1960, the community it was completely absorbed by Moscow and turned into a typical late Soviet sleeping district. In 1991, as a result of Moscow's administrative reform, Businovo District was established. Located close to the MKAD, Businovo was one of the northernmost districts of Moscow. It bordered Khovrino District in the west and Khimki in the north. Its area was approximately 2.8 square kilometers (1.1 sq mi). It had only three streets that circled it. There were two schools, two kindergartens, a music school, a municipal library, a polyclinic, and a militsiya station in the district. The closest metro station was Rechnoy Vokzal. The district existed until August 22, 1997, when its territory was formally merged into Zapadnoye Degunino District. Cogeneration plant (TETs-21) located on the eastern edge of Businovo is the largest in Europe in terms of generated heat with an estimated power 4,958 Gcal/h.

The S.N. Fyodorov Eye Microsurgery Complex the best clinical and research ophthalmological center in Moscow, and one of the best in the world, founded in 1988 by the best Russian eye surgeon Svyatoslav Fyodorov. The center also includes regional branches in Cheboksary, Irkutsk, Kaluga, Khabarovsk, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk, Orenburg, Saint Petersburg, Tambov, Volgograd, and Yekaterinburg. Led by Fyodorov the center became famous for the refractive surgery procedures performed in a way aimed to be similar to an assembly line, with patients on operating tables rotated from one doctor to another, each of them responsible only for one part of the procedure. The center has received many international awards. In the same years, Fyodorov converted a seagoing vessel, the Peter I, into an eye clinic, part of the institute, which sailed the Mediterranean and the Indian Ocean. Thanks to the international popularity of its founder and director, the Fyodorov Eye Microsurgery Complex obtained the fame of the best ophthalmic center in the world, with eleven branches in regional locations. During the years, it welcomed the best Russians & others medical doctors and surgeons from different countries wanting to specialize in ophthalmology. At present, the center treats cataract, refractive abnormalities, glaucoma, vitreal, retinal and optic nerve pathology, corneal diseases and deals with daily examinations of 2000 patients.

Zapadnoye Degunino District (Russian: Западное Дегунино – Western Degunino) is an administrative district (raion) of Northern Administrative Okrug, and one of the 125 raions of Moscow, Russia. The area of the district is 7.5266 square kilometers (2.9060 sq mi). In 1997 the Businovo District was merged into the district.

Khovrino (Russian: Ховрино) is a station on the Zamoskvoretskaya line of the Moscow Metro. The station opened on 31 December 2017. It is the northern terminus of the line, and the closest subway station to the Sheremetyevo International Airport.

Yakhromskaya (Russian: Яхромская ) is a station of the Line 10 (Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya) of Moscow Metro in the far north of Moscow, Russia. It was previously known as Ulitsa 800-letiya Moskvy (Russian: Улица 800-летия Москвы, romanized: Ulitsa vosmisotletiya Moskvy, "800th anniversary of Moscow Street"). Opened on the 7 September 2023 together with Lianozovo and Fiztekh stations to the north. Yakhromskaya is a column two-span shallow station with one island platform.

Dynamo Palace of Sports (Russian: Дворец спорта «Динамо») is an indoor sporting arena located in Khovrino District, Moscow, Russia. The capacity of the arena is 5,000. It was built during the preparations for the 1980 Summer Olympics, hosted by Moscow, USSR and was used as a venue of the handball tournament there.It was the home venue of Dynamo Moscow basketball team until 2006. The Dynamo Moscow volleyball team currently play their home matches here.

Lianozovo (Russian: Лиано́зово ) is a station on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line of the Moscow Metro, in the Dmitrovsky District, is located between the stations Fiztekh and Yakhromskaya. The station is, along with the nearby Lianozovo railway station, a part of a transport interchange hub that also serves Line D1 of the Moscow Central Diameters.The station is designed as an enfilade, with alternating dark and light colors resembling chocolate and coffee. The floor made of light gray granite, whilst the station's ceiling, walls, and 46 columns are covered with metal panelling.The station is one of 14 Moscow Metro stations opened in 2023. Lianozovo was opened on 7 September 2023, together with adjacent stations Fiztekh and Yakhromskaya. The station's main structural elements were completed by January.

Golovinsky District (Russian: Головинский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion) of Northern Administrative Okrug, and one of the 125 raions of Moscow, Russia. The area of the district is 8.806 square kilometers (3.400 sq mi). According to a 2018 estimate, the population of the district is 103,148.
