Greg Quinn (born 1950) is an American farmer in Staatsburg, New York, who lobbied several NY state senators and assemblypersons and in 2003, was successful in overturning the ban on the commercial cultivation of blackcurrants, enacted by Congress in 1911. blackcurrants, a berry fruit used in juice, jams, candy, yogurt, ice cream, and cereal provide twice the antioxidant ORAC capacity per serving of blueberries, four times the vitamin C content of oranges, and twice the potassium content of bananas. With no supply and no market, Quinn founded his company, CurrantC™, in 2003 and began to grow black currants on his 135-acre (55 ha), farm and Quinn sought to interest consumers and New York farmers in the fruit, which was then being supplied to the United States by Europe usually in the form of preserves. CurrantC™ is now the number one supplier of Currant products in the United States. In addition to farming and teaching at the New York Botanical Garden, Quinn has written eight children's books published by Scholastic Press, including the titles A Gift of a Tree, The Garden in Our Yard, 365 Meditations for Teachers, and books within the Natural Treasure series. He also has written for SKY magazine, Good Housekeeping, and Fine Gardening and has been "The Garden and Nature Guy" on WHUD and other Pamal Broadcasting radio stations, and FOX 5 television, WNYW out of New York City.

The complex consists of the farmhouse (c. 1804), barn (c. 1804), barn (c. 1835), an outhouse, and a corn crib. The house is a five-bay, 1+1⁄2-story clapboard structure with a center door and inside-end brick chimneys.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The main house was built about 1810 and is a traditional two story, five-bay, center hall Federal style dwelling. The rectangular frame structure sits on a partially exposed stone foundation and topped by a gable roof. It has a one-story frame wing. Also on the property are three barns, a carriage house, stone walls, a machine shed, well / wellhouse, and summer kitchen. The barn group includes a large "H" frame Dutch barn and two smaller barns.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Crum Elbow Meeting House and Cemetery is a historic Society of Friends meeting house and cemetery in East Park, Dutchess County, New York. It was built in 1797, with an addition built about 1810. It is a two-story, white painted frame building with weather board siding and a moderately pitched gable roof. The surrounding rural cemetery contains plain Quaker style markers dated from about 1797 to 1890.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Also on the property is a Dutch barn, a carriage house, shed, and stone walls.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Evergreen Lands is a historic home located at Rhinebeck, Dutchess County, New York. It was designed by architect John Russell Pope in the Tudor Revival style. It was built about 1932 and is a one to two story dwelling, asymmetrical, with a steeply pitched slate hipped roof. The first story is built of fieldstone, with stucco and half-timbering above. Also on the property are three contributing sheds and a stone wall. The house was built for Laura Delano, a cousin of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It was originally intended for use as a caretaker's cottage for a larger house that was never built.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Rock Ledge is a historic estate and national historic district located at Rhinebeck, Dutchess County, New York. The district encompasses five contributing buildings and five contributing structures on an estate developed between about 1904 and 1906. The manor house is a three-story, Italian Renaissance style stone dwelling. It consists of a central section with three-story projecting pavilions and a two-story wing. It has multi-level, tile hipped roofs with overhanging eaves. Also on the property are the contributing stone barn, stone carriage house, a stone stable, guest cottage, three stone pump houses, a stone foot bridge, and a cistern. It was a private estate until 1945, after which it housed a vegetarian resort, and after 1961 a novitiate for the Marist Fathers and home to Rhinebeck Country School.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
