Wrightsville Dam

Kreutz Creek is a 17.8-mile-long (28.6 km) tributary of the Susquehanna River in York County, Pennsylvania in the United States. Kreutz Creek joins the Susquehanna River at the borough of Wrightsville.

The Columbia–Wrightsville Bridge, officially the Veterans Memorial Bridge, spans the Susquehanna River between Columbia and Wrightsville, Pennsylvania, and carries Pennsylvania Route 462 and BicyclePA Route S. Built originally as the Lancaster-York Intercounty Bridge, construction began in 1929, and the bridge opened September 30, 1930. On November 11, 1980, it was officially dedicated as Veterans Memorial Bridge, though it is still referenced locally as the Columbia–Wrightsville Bridge. In nominating the present Columbia–Wrightsville Bridge as an engineering landmark, the Pennsylvania section of the American Society of Civil Engineers noted that it is "a splendid example of the graceful multiple-span, reinforced-concrete arched form popular in early 20th Century highway bridges in the United States." The bridge is designated State Route 462 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is also a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark. Instead of being replaced by a name such as the Old Lincoln Highway, its name is a kept part of the historic Lincoln Highway in local naming, the nation's first transcontinental highway, connecting a series of local highways and stretching from New York City to San Francisco. The opening in 1940 of the cross-state Pennsylvania Turnpike, a part of Interstate 76, subsequently provided faster passage.

The district is primarily residential with notable examples of Late Victorian architectural styles. Notable non-residential buildings include the Reading and Columbia Freight Station (1883), Holy Trinity Catholic Church and School (1915), American Legion Post 469, Women's Club, Columbia Lodge #1074 BPOE, Columbia Town Hall (1874, 1947), St. Paul's Episcopal Church (1888), Franklin Hotel (c. 1833), and Columbia Water Company (1849 and later). Located in the district is the separately listed Bachman and Forry Tobacco Warehouse.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Columbia, formerly Wright's Ferry, is a borough (town) in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 10,222. It is 28 miles (45 km) southeast of Harrisburg, on the east (left) bank of the Susquehanna River, across from Wrightsville and York County and just south of U.S. Route 30. The settlement was founded in 1726 by Colonial English Quakers from Chester County, led by entrepreneur and evangelist John Wright. Establishment of the eponymous Wright's Ferry, the first commercial Susquehanna crossing in the region, inflamed territorial conflict with neighboring Maryland but brought growth and prosperity to the small town, which was just a few votes shy of becoming the new United States' capital. Though besieged for a short while by Civil War destruction, Columbia remained a lively center of transport and industry throughout the 19th century, and was once the terminus of the Pennsylvania Canal. Later, however, the Great Depression and 20th-century changes in economy and technology sent the borough into economic decline. It is notable today as the site of one of the world's few museums devoted entirely to horology.

Columbia Wagon Works, also known as Colonial Wagon Company, is a historic wagon factory complex located at Columbia in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The complex was built between 1889 and 1920, and includes seven contributing buildings. They are rectangular brick factory buildings with heavy timber frame construction. Six of the buildings are arranged in an "H"-shape. The buildings range in height from one to 3 1/2-stories. The wagon company closed in 1926, after which the buildings housed a tobacco warehouse operated by the American Cigarette & Cigar Company and produce warehouses. Between 1994 and 1996, the complex was converted to house 60 apartments.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

McGinness Airport (FAA LID: 8N7) (also known as McGinness Field) is a closed public-use private airport located one mile from Columbia, Pennsylvania. It had been active from December 1949 till Spring 2014.In August 2021, the airport was bought by the Colombia Borough Council as a part of the boroughs ongoing economic revitalization efforts.
