It has a Palladian piano nobile plan. The traditional date for the building of Bentivar is 1795, but rebuilt about 1830 after a fire. Also on the property is a stone structure, apparently originally used as a dairy; ice pit; and graveyard.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Pantops Mountain is a mountain in Albemarle County, Virginia, directly east of Charlottesville across the Rivanna River. and north of U.S. Route 250.In 1777, Thomas Jefferson purchased some of the land for use as a farm. According to Edward C. Mead, "Pantops--formerly written 'Pant-Ops'--was therefore, so named by Mr. Jefferson from two Greek words...meaning 'all-seeing,' significant of the extended view from its summit."

The Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection of the University of Virginia houses one of the finest Indigenous Australian art collections in the world, rivaling many of the collections held in Australia. It is the only museum outside Australia dedicated solely to Indigenous Australian art. The museum houses many important breakthrough paintings of the Papunya Tula movement and Arnhem Land artists. The collection comprises more than 2000 objects in a variety of media, including bark and acrylic paintings, sculpture, photography, prints and artifacts. The museum is located at Pantops Farm, a university-owned property once owned by Thomas Jefferson in the Pantops neighborhood of Charlottesville, Virginia.

Pantops Farm is a historic house at 400 Peter Jefferson Road near Charlottesville, Virginia. It consists of a Colonial Revival main house, a guest house, and a building resembling a silo in appearance. This complex was designed by Benjamin Charles Barker and built in 1937 for James Cheek, whose family made its fortune in Maxwell House coffee. Its buildings, in particular the guest house and silo, were designed to appear as if they were older buildings that had been repurposed. The property is a small remnant of an estate that was once owned by Thomas Jefferson. It is now owned by the University of Virginia; the main house now holds the Thomas Jefferson Center for the Protection of Free Expression and the Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection. The property was given its name by Jefferson: pant-ops are Greek words meaning "all seeing", alluding to the property's expansive views of the surrounding countryside.The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

It is sheathed in weatherboard and sits on a brick English basement. It has a large two-story rear addition (1890s), one-story bay window, and projecting end pavilion. Also on the property are the contributing stone foundation of an old barn and the remains of a mill on Schenk's Branch.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

It has an original one-story rear wing, later expanded to two stories in the 20th century. A single-story Colonial Revival front porch replaced the original portico.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.Located at 605 Watson Avenue, adjacent to the Enderly House, is the Enderly kitchen. The kitchen was built in 1858 and prepared all of the meals for the Enderlys. Originally just a two room kitchen, the front 2 over 2 was added during World War I. In 1986, an additional first floor BR suite was added that enlarged the home even more.
