Hautot-sur-Mer (French pronunciation: [oto syʁ mɛʁ], literally Hautot on Sea) is a commune in the Seine-Maritime department in the Normandy region in northern France.

Varengeville-sur-Mer (French pronunciation: [vaʁɑ̃ʒvil syʁ mɛʁ], literally Varengeville on Sea) is a commune in the Seine-Maritime department in the Normandy region in north-western France.

The Château de Dieppe is a castle in the French town of Dieppe in the Seine-Maritime département. The castle was founded in 1188 by King Henry II of England, but was destroyed in 1195 by King Philip II of France. The site was restored in the 14th century. The castle was later in large part reconstructed in 1433 by Charles des Marets. The castle is composed of a quadrangular enclosure with round flanking towers and a lower court adjacent. The large west tower dates perhaps from the 14th century, and served as the keep. Several architectural styles are represented, and flint and sandstone are used in the buildings. A brick bastion and various other buildings have been added to the original enclosure. The town walls were built around 1360. The walls were extended between 1435 and 1442. Although the town was largely destroyed by an Anglo-Dutch naval bombardment in 1694, the castle survived. Until 1923, the castle housed the Ruffin barracks. It was bought by the town in 1903 and today is home to the Dieppe museum with its collection of ivories (crucifixes, rosaries, statuettes, fans, snuffboxes, etc.), maritime exhibits and the papers and belongings of Camille Saint-Saëns. The castle offers a panoramic view over the town and the coast. The Château de Dieppe has been officially classed since 1862 as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.

The Canton of Offranville is a former canton situated in the Seine-Maritime département and in the Haute-Normandie region of northern France. It was disbanded following the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. It had a total of 17,886 inhabitants (2012).

Dieppe Canadian War Cemetery is a Second World War military war grave cemetery, located in the village of Hautot-sur-Mer, 5 km (3.1 mi) south of Dieppe in Normandy, France. It contains Canadian and British soldiers killed during the Dieppe Raid on the 18/19 August 1942. This large scale daylight assault on a fortified objective was an abject failure and casualties were very heavy. Of an attacking military force of some 6,100, over 3,600 were killed, wounded, missing or taken prisoner. 765 identified Allied service personnel are interred in the cemetery, of which 582 are Canadian; a further 187 are unidentified. Further casualties from the Dieppe raid are buried in Rouen, where the Germans took captured soldiers, some of whom later died of their wounds. There are seven non-Commonwealth graves and two not from the Second World War.

Dieppe (French pronunciation: [djɛp]; Norman: Dgieppe; prob. from Old English dēōp or Old Norse djúpr 'deep') is a coastal commune in the Seine-Maritime department, Normandy, northern France. Dieppe is a seaport on the English Channel at the mouth of the river Arques. A regular ferry service runs to Newhaven in England. Famous for its scallops, Dieppe also has a popular pebbled beach, a 15th-century castle and the churches of Saint-Jacques and Saint-Remi. The mouth of the river Scie lies at Hautot-sur-Mer, directly to the west of Dieppe.

The Communauté d'agglomération de la région Dieppoise, also known as Dieppe Maritime is the communauté d'agglomération, an intercommunal structure, centred on the city of Dieppe. It is located in the Seine-Maritime department, in the Normandy region, northern France. It was created on 31 December 2002. Its area is 129.0 km2. Its population was 46,223 in 2018, of which 28,561 in Dieppe proper.

The Church of Saint-Jacques in Dieppe (French: Église Saint-Jacques de Dieppe) is a church located in Dieppe, France. The building was classified as a monument historique in 1840. The church is dedicated to Saint James the Great.

The siege of Dieppe (2 November 1442 – 14 August 1443) took place during the Hundred Years War where English forces led by John Talbot, Earl of Shrewsbury besieged and failed to capture the French-held port of Dieppe in Normandy.

The Bois des Moutiers is located in Varengeville-sur-Mer, Normandy, France. This estate of 30 acres (0.12 km2) is well known for its rhododendrons, azaleas and magnolias, which were introduced and naturalized among local flora. The house and gardens, both dating from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, are a first-class example, unique in France, of the work of the famous English partnership of architect Edwin Lutyens and garden designer Gertrude Jekyll. A large park overlooking the sea and formal gardens surrounding a manor house make up the Bois des Moutiers. The estate is listed as a historical monument and a Remarkable Garden of France.
