Knollwood Estate

Nassau Hall is a historic mansion on the grounds of the Muttontown Preserve in Muttontown, New York. It was built in 1904 for Bronson Winthrop and was known as Muttontown Meadows. It was the first commission of Delano and Aldrich in the area. Its exterior walls were modeled after Mount Vernon, and was on an estate of 183 acres.It was purchased by Lansdell Christie in 1950, who sold it to Nassau County in 1969, becoming the headquarters of the Nassau Parks Conservancy. It was restored in 2010. It is one of three mansions in the Muttontown Preserve, along with the Benjamin Moore Estate, also known as Chelsea, and the destroyed Knollwood Estate.

Benjamin Moore Estate, also known as Chelsea, is a historic estate located at Muttontown in Nassau County, New York. It was designed in 1923–1924 by architect William Adams Delano (1874–1960) for Benjamin Moore and Alexandra Emery. The manor house is an eclectic Chinese and French Renaissance style inspired dwelling. It is "U" shaped, two and one half stories high with hipped and gable roofs, covered with concrete block on a concrete foundation. The front facade features a steeply pitched roof, four large irregularly spaced chimneys, and a large brick tourelle with a conical roof. The property also has a contributing formal garden, gatehouse, picturesque roadways, garage, conservatory, octagonal gazebo, shed and tool house, and large open lawns.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Jericho High School is an American comprehensive public high school in the hamlet of Jericho in Nassau County, New York. It is the only high school in the Jericho Union Free School District. It opened in 1959. As of the 2022-2023 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,195 students and 104 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.5:1. There were 155 students (13% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch.

The Elmcroft Estate, also called the Norwich House, is a historic mansion in Upper Brookville, New York, U.S. The 38-room property was built in 1918 by industrialist Frank C B Page, president of E W Bliss Machine Works in Brooklyn NY. From 1938 to 1952 it was the residence of Nathan L. Miller, who served as the governor of New York from 1921 to 1922. In 1952, it was purchased by the Soviet Union as a retreat for their diplomats. Russian access to the site was commuted in the wake of the alleged Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections as part of a number of sanctions taken by the United States government against Russian diplomatic personnel.

Islanders Iceworks is a multipurpose ice hockey facility in Syosset, New York, containing two regulation-sized NHL rinks. It is owned and operated by the New York Islanders, an NHL team, and is used primarily as a practice facility. Additionally the arena is available to the local community for a variety of reasons, including 'learning to skate', house leagues and summer camps.After founding both a men's and women's ice hockey team, Long Island University reached an agreement with the New York Islanders to use the Iceworks as their primary home rink.The Islander's former owner Charles Wang purchased the Iceworks out of bankruptcy in 2015 for $8 million.
