Rizal Institute

Don Bosco College, Canlubang, also referred to by its acronym DBC is a private Catholic basic and higher educational institution owned and operated by the Salesians of the Society of Saint John Bosco in Canlubang, Laguna, Philippines. It was established in 1963 by the Salesians.

Mary Help of Christians College - Salesian Sisters Inc. (formally, Mary Help of Christians School) is an educational sectarian institution situated beside Don Bosco College, Canlubang in Calamba, Laguna, in the Philippines. They are the first in Laguna and only in Calamba to be PAASCU Accredited Level III The school is administered by the Daughters of Mary Help of Christian (Italian:Figlie di Maria Ausiliatrice or FMA), also known as Salesian Sisters of Don Bosco (FMA).

Camp Vicente Lim is a facility of the Philippine National Police located in Barangay Mayapa in the city of Calamba, Laguna, which currently serves as the regional headquarters of the PNP in Calabarzon (Region IV-A). It has played a significant part in the local history of the Calabarzon region, as well as the national history of the Philippines; it was part of the Calamba Airstrip during the Philippines' American Colonial era, and was occupied by the Japanese during World War II although it is not recorded as having been used for military purposes during the war. It later became a facility of the Philippines' integrated local police forces, hosting the Integrated National Police Training Command. During Martial law under Ferdinand Marcos, Camp Vicente Lim was one of the four provincial camps to be designated a Regional Command for Detainees (RECAD). It was designated RECAD I and it housed thousands of political detainees from the Southern Tagalog and Bicol regions.

The Saint Francis of Assisi College Calamba (SFAC-Calamba; historically, SFACS-Calamba) is one of the campuses of the Saint Francis of Assisi College System, a multi-campus, non-sectarian but Catholic Oriented, private institution of learning. The system is a sister school of the Seattle Central Community College, Time Magazine's Community college of 2001. The school is also one of the three campuses of the system in the Province of Laguna, the other two being in Los Baños and Biñan. The Calamba campus is situated at Milan Street, Calamba Hills Village Phase II, Barandal, Calamba, Philippines. The Patron saint of the school is its namesake, Francis of Assisi.

The University of Perpetual Help System Dalta - Calamba Campus (UPHSD Calamba), or simply Perpetual, was founded on 1996 in Barangay Paciano Rizal, Calamba, Philippines. It is a private, non-sectarian educational institution run by the Dalta Group of Companies. The 3rd UPHD branch, the UPHD Calamba campus was established in 1996 with 360 students. To date, its enrollment has increased to 3,000 enrollees.

The Calamba Premiere International Park (CPIP) operated by the legal entity Calamba Premiere Realty Corporation as established in 1999, is one of the first industrial parks in the Philippines. It is a comprehensively-planned industrial estate located at Batino, Barandal, and Prinza in Calamba, Laguna and provides a workplace for technology-based, light and medium industries.

On May 16, 2008, a branch of the Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) in Cabuyao, Laguna, Philippines was robbed. It is described as the worst bank robbery in Philippine history.

Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna (MMCL), formerly known as Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL), is a private, research, and nonsectarian college wholly-owned subsidiary of the Mapúa University in Cabuyao, Laguna, Philippines. Opened on June 18, 2006, MMCL's close proximity to the industrial hubs of Laguna provides students easy access to on-the-job training opportunities in prestigious companies in the country. The college was established by the Mapúa University in 2006 to expand its presence in Laguna, bringing its renowned engineering, maritime, and technological education to Southern Luzon. A branch was also established in Davao in 2018, marking the official start of the school's operations in Mindanao. MMCL offers 9 accredited programs, including two enhanced through its collaboration with Arizona State University (ASU). The institution achieved autonomous status in 2019, 13 years after its establishment, making it the youngest college in the country to attain this recognition. It has had a string of successes over the years which include 100% passing rates in several licensure and certification examinations, and the exceptionally high employment rates of graduates – all of which have helped MMCL secure its ranking as the 3rd HEI (higher educational institution) in Calabarzon.

The Mapúa Institute of Technology at Laguna (MITL) is the flagship college of the Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna. The college is under the Mapúa School of Engineering in the Philippines. MITL is among the three pioneer colleges under MCL. It offers architecture and seven engineering programs.
