Don Bosco College of Engineering is an institute of technical education in Fatorda, Goa. It was established in 2011, and is run by the Fatorda Salesian Society. The college campus was designed by civil engineer Olavo Carvalho.

Arlem Breweries Ground is a cricket ground in Margao, Goa, India. Established in 1976, the ground held its first first-class to be played there came in the 1985/86 Ranji Trophy when Goa played Hyderabad. Between the 1985/86 season and the 2003/04 season, the ground held twelve first-class matches. The first List A match played there came when Goa played Andhra Pradesh in the 1994/95 Ranji Trophy one-day competition. Seven further List A matches have been played on the ground, the last of which saw Goa play Karnataka in the 2004/05 Ranji Trophy one-day competition.

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (also known as Fatorda Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium situated in Margao, Goa, India. The venue has been used to host both international football as well as International cricket matches. It is Goa's only international stadium and has a seating capacity of 19000 with additional 1000 in reserve. It has hosted 9 ODIs in Cricket and hosted various football tournaments including multiple Indian Super League finals, I-League, I-League 2, AFC Cup, and AFC Champions League. The venue was established in 1989 and is owned and operated by the Sports Authority of Goa. It is currently the home stadium of FC Goa. In the 2020–21 Indian Super League, it was used as one of the centralized home grounds because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Igorchem Bandh (transl. Church Road) is a road situated in the village of Raia, adjacent to Rachol, within the coastal state of Goa. It has gained attention for its association with midday hauntings. The name "Igorchem Bandh" is fittingly derived from its location behind the Church of Our Lady of Snows. This particular road has gained notoriety as a place where numerous individuals have reportedly experienced unusual occurrences. The path area has gained notoriety due to a plethora of eerie haunting accounts. Witnesses have reported instances where individuals, shortly after experiencing possession, have met with bizarre and untimely deaths. Local residents have also attested to hearing inexplicable footsteps and the unsettling sound of heavy breathing emanating from the vicinity of trees and bushes, contributing to the pervasive ghostly ambiance of the location.

Comba (Komb) is a town and suburb of the city of Margao in South Goa district in the state of Goa, India close to the city of Margao.Comba is famous for Margao's well-known temple-hall "Dambaab Saal".It has Damodar Temple along with Ram temple. The initial settlement of Margao grew from the site of the ancient Damodar Temple.At the centre of Comba there is a famous Vithal Mandir. Dedicated to the deity - Shree Vithal Rakhumayi Dindi (festival) has been celebrated in Margao since 1909, starting from Kartikein Maha-ekadashi, coinciding with the Pandharpur zatra held in Maharashtra the hometown of the deity. The Dindi festival at the Vithal Rakhumai temple in Comba occurs on the second day after Diwali. The main celebration of Dindi to be held includes the annual procession of the palanquin with the deity, commencing from Shree Hari Mandir Devasthan (Margao) and slowly passing through the entire Margao town, to reach the Shree Vithal-Rakhumayi temple at Comba. The feast of the Holy Spirit Church (located at Comba), locally known as Purumetache fest occurs just before the monsoons set in. People from all over Goa congregate at the special market to buy spices and dried fish to be used during the oncoming rainy season. Comba has a number of schools such as Mahila and Nutan, Popular, and Damodar higher secondary college.
