Princeton High School (Ohio)

SugoiCon was an annual three day anime convention in the Cincinnati–Northern Kentucky metropolitan area held at the Crowne Plaza Cincinnati North in Sharonville, Ohio. The convention was organized by Southwest Ohio Regional Animation.

The Mathew Mound (designated 33-HA-122) is a Native American mound in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Ohio. Located off Oak Road near the village of Evendale, the mound is believed to have been built by members of the Adena or Hopewell peoples during the Woodland period.: 629 For many years, local legend held that the mound was the burial site of a historic Native American known as "Opekasit"; the legend lent itself to the milk-processing operation run by the mound's owners, which was known for many years as the Opekasit Dairy. The mound is 4.5 feet (1.4 m) high with a diameter of slightly more than 60 feet (18 m). Having never been excavated, it is a prime example of a burial mound from the Woodland period. Based on the excavation of similar mounds, it is expected that the Mathew Mound contains evidence of funerary practices such as grave goods and the remains of buried bodies.: 630  It is one of two archaeological sites in the vicinity: the other, a small campsite designated 33-HA-125, is a small fraction of a mile west of the mound, but excavation yielded nothing significant. Because the mound is a potentially valuable archaeological site, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Glendale Police Station, also known as Council House and Jail, is a historic building in Glendale, Ohio. It was designed by architect H. Neill Wilson. It was listed in the National Register on March 27, 1975.

The Art Institute of Cincinnati, also known as AIC College of Design, was a private for-profit art school in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools & Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). It was founded as the ACA or the Academy of Creative Arts, and it offered an associate degree of Graphic Design and a three-year bachelor's degree of Graphic Design. The institution closed in 2019.

Glendale is a village in Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. The population was 2,298 at the 2020 census. It is a northern suburb of Cincinnati, and is the site of the Glendale Historic District.

Sharonville Transmission is a Ford Motor Company transmission factory in Sharonville, Ohio. Sharonville's heavy transmission product is the 10R140 transmission used in Super Duty pickups. They are still running the 6R140 from 2006 in small quantities. In 2019 the plant was awarded another 900 mil to go along with the 200 mil awarded to them in 2015 to continue running current product and also introduce the 10R80, 10R80 diesel, and future 10R100. The Glendale Historic District encompasses the historic core of Glendale, Ohio. Developed in 1851, Glendale is one of the earliest known examples of a planned residential village subdivision, its layout made using principles developed for rural cemeteries popular at the time. The district features shaded winding residential lanes, and a large assemblage of well-preserved period buildings. The district was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1977.

St. Rita School for the Deaf is an independent Roman Catholic school located in the village of Evendale, near Cincinnati, Ohio.

Sports Plus Arena is a 1,200 seat multi-purpose arena in Evendale, Ohio, USA. The ice arena has two sheets of ice for ice hockey, figure skating, broomball, sled hockey and open skating. The arena also houses Shooters Bar and Grill, arcade games, two concessions, Northlands Pro Shop, a inflatable zone, roller hockey, 6 basketball courts used for basketball and volleyball, and a sports trainer. The arena was the home of the Cincinnati Swords and Queen City Steam junior hockey team in the North American 3 Hockey League from 2007 to 2015. The team would change their name in 2015 to the Thunder and began playing out of the Cincinnati Gardens in the 2015–16 season.

Tri-County Mall was a shopping mall located on State Route 747 (Princeton Pike) just south of Interstate 275 in the city of Springdale, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Originally known as Tri-County Shopping Center, it opened in 1960 and has been expanded several times in its history. The original shopping center was an open-air property featuring H. & S. Pogue Company (Pogue's) and John Shillito Company (Shillito's) as the anchor stores. An enclosed wing anchored by Sears was added in 1969, followed by the enclosure of the rest of the mall. Shillito's was later known as Shillito-Rike's, Lazarus, Lazarus-Macy's, and then just Macy's; Pogue's was consolidated with L. S. Ayres and then converted to JCPenney. A mall expansion begun in 1990 and finished in 1992 added a second level of stores and McAlpin's (sold to Dillard's in 1998) as a fourth anchor store. The mall underwent a slow decline in the 21st century, owing mainly to the center's age and increased competition and lost all of its anchors. Both JCPenney and Dillard's relocated to newer shopping centers in the 2010s, while Sears closed in 2018 and Macy's closed in 2021. The mall itself closed on May 15, 2022. It is owned by MarketSpace Capital and Park Harbor Capital.

Evendale (pronounced EE-vən-dayl) is a village in Hamilton County, Ohio, United States, within the Cincinnati metropolitan area. The population was 2,669 at the 2020 census.

Twelve Mile House In 1842, The Twelve Mile House was originally built as an inn and tavern for travelers and local residents. A simple, but imposing building. The Twelve Mile House was built in the Greek Revival Style, which is considered to be the first style to be developed in America. It is particularly noted for its feeling of monumental permanence. Under various ownership and through 1861, the building continued to serve as a hotel with restaurant and bar until sometime after 1912. The Victorian bar entrance featuring beer mugs in relief on stone pilasters beside the doorway and grapes cut into lintel above is of particular significance in the buildings architectural history and has been retained as a monument to the past. During the years until 1915, the inn served as a refuge to drivers, who herded cattle and hogs to the stockyards of Cincinnati, and to the haulers, who teamed huge loads of hay to livery stables and horse barns in the city. Throughout Prohibition Days, the inn gained new life as a Road House with dancing, live bands and entertainment. In later years, the original structure as expanded to accommodate additional business. The Twelve Mile House has served as a landmark through the cultural and population changes within our society. Commercial activity created by its existence has played a significant role in the development of the present city of Sharonville. Today, this structure has been preserved and will continue to serve the community and its heirs as a landmark of our past and the future. Twelve Mile House is a registered historic building in Sharonville, Ohio, listed in the National Register on September 1, 1976.
