The Stadium at the ESPN Wide World of Sports

The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is a 220-acre (89 ha) multi-purpose sports complex located at Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida, United States, near Orlando. The complex allows families to combine tournaments and competition with a visit to vacation destinations in the area. The complex includes nine venues and hosts numerous professional and amateur sporting events throughout the year. In reference to the weekly ABC Sports television show, Wide World of Sports (Disney bought ABC in 1996), the complex was originally known as Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex from 1997 until 2010, when it was rebranded with the name of the Disney-owned ESPN. The complex is a part of the sports tourism emerging market. The complex is mainly used for AAU tournaments; however, many prominent professional sporting events have taken place here, including the 2020 NBA Bubble, MLS is Back Tournament, 2016 Invictus Games, Pro Bowl skills competition from 2017 to 2020, 1997 U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships, and Atlanta Braves spring training from 1997 to 2019 among other events. The complex hosted the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games. The Tampa Bay Rays are currently using the complex for 2023 spring training, due to Charlotte Sports Park having been heavily damaged by Hurricane Ian.

The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD), formerly the Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID), is the governing jurisdiction and special taxing district for the land of Walt Disney World Resort. It includes 39.06 sq mi (101.2 km2) within Orange and Osceola counties in Florida. It acts with most of the same authority and responsibility as a county government. It includes the cities of Bay Lake and Lake Buena Vista, as well as unincorporated land. The current district was created on February 27, 2023, after the Florida Legislature passed House Bill 9B to supersede the Reedy Creek Improvement Act, passed in 1967 at the behest of Walt Disney and his namesake media company during the planning stages of Walt Disney World. A major selling point in lobbying the Florida government to establish the original Reedy Creek Improvement District was Walt Disney's proposal of the "Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow" (EPCOT), a real planned community intended to serve as a testbed for new city-living innovations. However, the company eventually abandoned Walt Disney's concepts for the experimental city, primarily only building a resort similar to its other parks. The Reedy Creek Improvement District had the authority of a governmental body, but was not subject to the constraints of a governmental body. That changed under the 2023 act, which gave the Florida governor the authority to name its board members, replacing the original five-member Board of Supervisors controlled by the Walt Disney Company, the majority landowner of the District. In April 2022, the Florida Legislature passed a law abolishing the RCID and other special districts formed before November 5, 1968. Some members of the Florida Legislature and political commentators said the action was retaliation to Disney's opposition to the controversial Parental Rights in Education Act, dubbed the "Don't Say Gay" bill by its critics. The law would have taken effect in June 2023, at which time the RCID would be dissolved; however, it was unclear what would happen to the $1 billion in bond liabilities held by the RCID. On February 9 and 10, 2023, the state legislature voted to revert most of the changes; replace the RCID board's five Disney-selected members with five members appointed by the governor; and remove parts of the district's authority, such as the power to construct a nuclear power plant, airport, and stadium. The district's name was changed the day the bill was signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis on February 27, 2023. On April 26, 2023, Disney filed a lawsuit against DeSantis.

The AdventHealth Nicholson Center is a medical research and training center with locations in Celebration and Orlando, Florida. Founded in 2001, it operates within the AdventHealth network and trains physicians on foundational surgical techniques, including robotic surgery and laparoscopic surgery, using tools like robotic simulators, wet and dry labs. Using emerging robotic, laparoscopic and orthopedic surgical techniques, the Nicholson Center is researching to develop modified ways to operate.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a resort within Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It is located where construction on the unfinished half of Disney's Pop Century Resort was started but later abandoned after the September 11 attacks. It is considered a value resort. The resort is the first to be built in the complex in over seven years and the fifth to be placed in the value-priced category, along with Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, the All-Star Music Resort, the All-Star Movies Resort, and Disney's Pop Century Resort. Family suites opened on May 31, 2012, and standard rooms opened on September 15, 2012.

Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser was a Star Wars-themed 2-night live-action/role-playing choose-your-own-adventure experience aboard a simulated cruise in outer space within the Star Wars galaxy. It opened on March 1, 2022, and closed on September 30, 2023. Starcruiser guests began their experience at the terminal next to Disney's Hollywood Studios, in the Epcot Resort Area of the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida. The hotel accompanied the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge themed area in Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Disney's All-Star Movies Resort is a resort hotel located at the Walt Disney World Resort. It is one of five Disney Resorts in the "Value" category along with Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, Disney's All-Star Music Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort, and Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The resort is located on the southern portion of the Walt Disney World property, and has a Disney Movie theme. Like all Disney Value resorts, the property is decorated with giant Disney film icons such as the Fantasia Pool; a Mighty Ducks-themed Duck Pond Pool; Herbie, The Love Bug; puppies from One Hundred and One Dalmatians; and some of the residents of Andy's Room from Pixar's Toy Story. Like the other value resorts, the All-Star Movies has a large food court and poolside bar.Most rooms are available with two queen beds. A limited number of rooms with king-size beds are also available. Disabled accessible rooms are available. Irons, ironing boards, mini-refrigerators and hair dryers, and in-room safes are in each room. The groundbreaking for the All-Star Resort complex was in November 1992. The architect of the resort was Arquitectonica. of Miami. All Star Movies was the third All-Star Resort to open after Disney's All-Star Sports Resort and Disney’s All Star Music Resort. 101 Dalmatians and Mighty Ducks were the first buildings to open on January 15, 1999, Fantasia and Love Bug opened in March 1999, and Toy Story was the last to open in April 1999. The resort opened on January 15, 1999.

Disney's All-Star Music Resort is a resort that is part of the Walt Disney World Resort. It is one of five resorts in the Value Resort category, along with Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, Disney's Pop Century Resort, and Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The resort is located on the southern portion of the Walt Disney World Resort property near Disney's Animal Kingdom. Disney's All-Star Music Resort is a 1,604-room hotel featuring giant icons that pay homage to classic music genres—including Broadway show tunes, calypso, country, jazz, and rock n' roll. It was the first Disney Value Resort to feature family suites. As a characteristic with all Disney Value resorts, the resort features a music theme with giant novelty items such as guitars, trumpets, and drums. The resort is designated as part of the Florida Green Lodging Program.The groundbreaking for the All-Star Resort complex was in November 1992. The architect of the resort was Arquitectonica of Miami. All Star Music was the second All-Star Resort to open after Disney's All-Star Sports Resort. Calypso was the first building to open on November 22, 1994, and Broadway was the last to open on February 17, 1995. The resort opened on November 22, 1994.

AdventHealth Celebration is a non-profit hospital in Celebration, Florida, United States owned by AdventHealth. The Mediterranean-style hospital attracts patients from around the world. The hospital has an affiliation with AdventHealth Orlando.

Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano is an Italian-American restaurant in the Grand Avenue area at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Located near Muppet*Vision 3D and Star Tours, the restaurant specializes in Italian cuisine, serving such dishes as ossobuco, wood-fired flatbread pizza, and grilled salmon and sausage grinders. A Fantasmic! dinner package is available that grants restaurant guests quicker access to this show. This package is also offered at two other restaurants in the park: the Hollywood Brown Derby and Hollywood & Vine. Ron Douglas included the recipe for Mama Melrose's cappuccino crème brûlée in his cookbook America's Most Wanted Recipes: Just Desserts.Mama Melrose's is decorated with film memorabilia and Italian bric-à-brac. The restaurant's background music consists of songs sung by such Italian-American singers as Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra.

Disney's Pop Century Resort is a resort located at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, opened on December 14, 2003. It is the fourth value-priced resort in the complex, following Disney's All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, and All-Star Sports Resorts in the 1990s. The resort is themed around 20th century American pop culture. Original plans anticipated the creation of both the "Legendary Years" and the "Classic Years" to divide the property by the first and second halves of the century, respectively. However, the former section was not finished after reduced tourism in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks and redeveloped as a fifth value-priced resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, in 2012.

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: Movie Set Adventure was a playground at Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. It was located in the Streets of America area and was based on Disney's 1989 film, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. The playground, which opened a year and a half after the film, featured 30-foot-tall (9.1 m) blades of grass, and was themed as a movie set for the giant backyard scenes from the film. Kids could roam through the playground, exploring giant ants and a huge dog's nose.On January 15, 2016, Disney's Hollywood Studios announced that the Streets of America section, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: Movie Set Adventure and Lights, Motors, Action!: Extreme Stunt Show would be permanently closed. They operated for the final time on April 2, 2016 and were demolished to make room for the construction of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge on the same site.

Sounds Dangerous! was an audio show at Echo Lake inside Disney's Hollywood Studios starring comedian Drew Carey. The presentation took place inside an ABC soundstage with theater-style seating. Guests were told that the show was an ABC test pilot called Undercover Live. Guests wore headphones and were in the dark for the majority of the show, although visuals were also utilized on a projection screen in front of the guests. Drew Carey played an undercover detective named Foster.In early 2009, it was announced that the attraction would operate seasonally. The image of Drew Carey along with the attraction's name was removed from the entrance's marquee and the screen was turned off, indicating the closure of the attraction, which meant that Disney closed the attraction on May 18, 2012, renaming it as ABC Sound Studio (which was also the name of the show that preceded Sounds Dangerous!), and redressing it as the temporary "Carbon Freeze Me" attraction for the park's annual Star Wars Weekends event.Starting April 18, 2014, the theater was used to present a sneak peek of Walt Disney Pictures' Maleficent. Beginning July 4, 2014, the theater was used to present a sneak peek of Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy. From June 17 to December 3, 2015, the theater was used to show the short film Frozen Fever, as part of the Frozen Summer Fun event at the park. From December 4, 2015, to May 14, 2018, the theater showed Star Wars: Path of the Jedi, as part of Season of the Force. On March 4, 2020, the theater was renamed the Mickey Shorts Theater and the seats were given a Mickey Mouse design. It currently shows the Vacation Fun Mickey Mouse short. It opened concurrently with Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway.
