Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (IATA: TPE, ICAO: RCTP), is an international airport situated in Taoyuan City which serves the entire northern Taiwan region including the capital city Taipei (sometimes referred to as Taipei-Taoyuan International Airport ). Located about 40 km (25 mi) west of the capital Taipei in Dayuan District, Taoyuan, the airport is the busiest and largest in Taiwan. In 2016, it was ranked the best airport for its size in the Asia-Pacific region by Airports Council International.The airport opened for commercial operations in 1979 as Chiang Kai-shek International Airport (中正國際機場) and was renamed in 2006. It is an important regional trans-shipment center, passenger hub, and gateway for destinations in Asia, and is one of two international airports that serve Taipei. The other, Taipei Songshan Airport, is located within the city limits and served as Taipei's only international airport until 1979. Songshan now mainly serves chartered flights, intra-island flights, and limited international flights. In 2018, Taoyuan International Airport handled a record 46.5 million passengers and 2.3 billion kg of freight, making it the 11th busiest airport worldwide by international passenger traffic, and 8th busiest in terms of international freight traffic in 2018. It is the main international hub for China Airlines, EVA Air and Starlux Airlines. It is also a hub of Mandarin Airlines, Uni Air and Tigerair Taiwan.

The Chung Cheng Aviation Museum (Chinese: 中正航空科學館; pinyin: Zhōngzhèng Hángkōng Kēxuéguǎn) was an aviation museum located at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport in Dayuan Township, Taoyuan County (now Dayuan District, Taoyuan City), Taiwan. The museum closed on March 31, 2014, to allow for planned construction of Terminal 3 at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport and for relocation of taxiway WC. Items displayed at the museum have been sent to storage and all 18 aircraft on display will be relocated to former Taoyuan Naval base during the second half of 2014.The museum was located in the southeastern area of the airport between the main freeway entrance and the airport terminals. It was built in 1981 by Boeing under a Civil Aeronautics Administration contract.Many retired Republic of China Air Force fighters were represented in the museum.

Airport Terminal 2 (Chinese: 機場第二航廈站) is a station on the Taoyuan Airport MRT located in Dayuan, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The station is located directly under Terminal 2 of Taoyuan International Airport and opened for commercial service on 2 March 2017.This underground station has two side platforms and two tracks. Both the limited-stop Express services and all-stops Commuter services stop at this station, with the station serving as the western terminus for regularly-scheduled limited-stop Express services. The station is 228.0 metres (748.0 ft) long and 16.3 metres (53 ft) wide. It opened for trial service on 2 February 2017, and for commercial service 2 March 2017.Station construction was overseen by the Bureau of High Speed Rail (under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications). Space was reserved during construction of Taoyuan International Airport Terminal 2 for a medium-capacity rubber-tired system.

Airport Hotel (Chinese: 機場旅館) is a station on the Taoyuan Airport MRT located in Dayuan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The station is located under the Novotel Taipei Taoyuan International Airport and opened for commercial service on 2 March 2017.This underground station has one island platform and two tracks. Only Commuter trains stop at this station. The station is 180.4 metres (592 ft) long and 16.3 metres (53 ft) wide. It opened for trial service on 2 February 2017, and for commercial service 2 March 2017.The station opened for commercial service on 2 March 2017 with the opening of the Taipei-Huanbei section of the Airport MRT.

The CAL Park (Chinese: 華航園區; pinyin: Huáháng Yuánqū) is located in Dayuan District, Taoyuan City in the Republic of China (Taiwan). The building is located next to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport's terminals. The CAL Park is the flagship building and headquarters for China Airlines. The CAL Park property consists of four buildings, including the head office building, the crew training center, the flight simulator training center, and the Novotel Taipei hotel. The four buildings are aligned in order from the shortest to the tallest; the company says that the design is meant to evoke progress. The design of CAL Park was intended to evoke the concept of flight, and the colors used in the design include blue, gray, silver, and white. The nine-story hotel, which opened in September 2009, was scheduled to have 360 guest rooms.In September 2006 China Airlines established and invested $300,000,000 into the wholly owned Cal Park Co., Ltd. (Chinese Traditional: 華航園區股份有限公司, Simplified: 华航园区股份有限公司, Pinyin: Huáháng Yuánqū Gǔfěn Yǒuxiàngōngsī) with the intention of building a new corporate headquarters. On January 31, 2008, China Airlines began work on CAL Park. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on that day. Over 100 guests, including government officials, officers of the airport authority, vendors, executive representatives of China Airlines, and media personnel, attended the groundbreaking ceremony. The 4.5 billion New Taiwan dollar CAL Park was originally scheduled to open at the end of 2009. The complex consists of four towers. The groundbreaking ceremony of CAL Park was on January 31, 2008. The developer of CAL Park was CAL Park Co. Limited. The complex was under a 50-year contract which consists of 3 years of construction and 47 years of operation.On March 26, 2010, China Airlines moved into its new headquarters. The airline held an inauguration ceremony for the facility on that day. CAL Park, with 16,520 square metres (177,800 sq ft) (1.65 hectare) of space, includes all of China Airlines's passenger and cargo executive operations, aircraft operations, ground handling services, maintenance, and simulator training.The building has a net floor area of around 33,000 square metres. It has a total of 180 car park lots. The park is connected to Taoyuan Airport MRT.

Airport Terminal 1 (Chinese: 機場第一航廈站) is a station on the Taoyuan Airport MRT located in Dayuan, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The station is located under Terminal 1 of Taoyuan International Airport and opened for commercial service on 2 March 2017.This underground station has one island platform and two tracks. Both Express and Commuter trains stop at this station. The station is 171.4 metres (562 ft) long and 17.3 metres (57 ft) wide. It opened for trial service on 2 February 2017, and for commercial service 2 March 2017.Station construction was overseen by the Bureau of High Speed Rail (under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications).

China Airlines Flight 676 was a scheduled international passenger flight. On Monday, 16 February 1998, the Airbus A300 jet airliner operating the flight crashed into a road and residential area in Tayuan, Taoyuan County (now Taoyuan City), near Chiang Kai-shek International Airport (present-day Taoyuan International Airport), Taiwan. The A300, registered as B-1814, was en route from Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali, Indonesia to Taipei, Taiwan. The weather was inclement, with rain and fog when the aircraft approached Chiang Kai-shek International Airport, so the pilot executed a missed approach. After the jet was cleared to land at runway 05L, the autopilot was disengaged, and the pilots then attempted a manual go-around. The jet slowed, pitched up by 40°, rose 1,000 feet (300 m), stalled, and crashed into a residential neighborhood, bursting into flames at local time 4:20 pm. All 196 people on board were killed (including the governor of Taiwan's central bank, Sheu Yuan-dong, his wife, and three central bank officials), along with seven people on the ground. Hsu Lu, the manager of the Voice of Taipei radio station, said that one boy was pulled alive from the wreckage and later died.At the time of the crash, it was the deadliest aviation accident on Taiwanese soil until the crash of China Airlines Flight 611. China Airlines had 12 A300s in its fleet at the time of the accident.

The station is 170.0 metres (557.7 ft) long and 26.4 metres (87 ft) wide. It opened for trial service on 2 February 2017, and for commercial service 2 March 2017.

Taoyuan Air Base (ICAO: RCGM) was a Republic of China Air Force base located in Taoyuan, Taiwan, southeast of Taipei's civilian Taoyuan International Airport. In 2007, the site was turned over to the Republic of China Navy and was renamed to Taoyuan Naval Base.

Hengshan (Chinese: 橫山) is a station on the Taoyuan Airport MRT located in Dayuan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. It opened for commercial service on 2 March 2017.This elevated station has two side platforms and two tracks. Only Commuter trains stop at this station. The station is 153.6 metres (504 ft) long and 26.4 metres (87 ft) wide. It opened for trial service on February 2, 2017, and for commercial service March 2, 2017.It will be a future transfer station with the Green line (G18) of Taoyuan Metro. Construction on the station began on September 18, 2008, and opened for commercial service on March 2, 2017 with the opening of the Taipei-Huanbei section of the Airport MRT.

Kengkou (Chinese: 坑口站; pinyin: Kēngkǒu Zhàn) is a station on the Taoyuan Airport MRT located in Luzhu District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The station opened for commercial service on 2 March 2017.
