Duncan's Dam

Aghalislone (from Irish Achadh Lis Luain, meaning 'field of Loan's fort') is a townland of 664 acres in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is situated in the civil parish of Derriaghy and is split between the historic Baronies of Massereene Upper (426 acres) and Belfast Upper (238 acres).

Thiepval Barracks in Lisburn, County Antrim, is the headquarters of the British Army in Northern Ireland and its 38th (Irish) Brigade.

HQ Northern Ireland was the formation responsible for the British Army in and around Northern Ireland. It was established in 1922 and disbanded, replaced by a brigade-level Army Reserve formation, 38 (Irish) Brigade, in 2009.

St Patrick's GAC is a Gaelic Athletic Association in County Antrim. The club was founded in 1950 and the current playing field is situated in Lisburn. The Thiepval Barracks bombing was a double car bomb attack carried out by the Provisional Irish Republican Army (IRA) on 7 October 1996. The bombs exploded inside Thiepval Barracks, the British Army headquarters in Northern Ireland. One British soldier was killed and 31 people were injured. This bombing was the first major attack on a military base in Northern Ireland since the end of the IRA's ceasefire eight months earlier.

The Bluebell Stadium is a football stadium in Lisburn, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is the home stadium of local football team Ballymacash Rangers F.C.

Knockmore railway station was a station on the Belfast–Newry railway line. The station served the suburb of Knockmore in Lisburn, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The Great Northern Railway (GNR) opened Knockmore station as a halt in 1932. Northern Ireland Railways (NIR) closed the station on 25 March 2005.Knockmore station had two platforms. One platform was served by "Up" trains only on the service from Belfast Central via Lisburn to Portadown, while the other platform was served by trains in both directions on the Belfast – Lisburn – Antrim – Londonderry service. "Down" trains travelling from Portadown to Belfast could not serve Knockmore as it was the middle line with no platform.

Milltown is a small settlement in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is within the townland of Derriaghy, about one mile to the north of Lisburn. Once a rural village, it is now part of Greater Belfast. However, it is separated from the surrounding urban area by a narrow stretch of countryside. It had a population of 1,499 people (571 households) in the 2011 Census.Milltown is a local service centre with facilities including retail units, the former Derriaghy Primary School, Christ Church, Church of Ireland and hall, Derriaghy Gospel Hall and a Community Centre. There is a railway halt in Derriaghy, to the east.

South Antrim was a constituency of the Parliament of Northern Ireland. The House of Commons (Method of Voting and Redistribution of Seats) Act (Northern Ireland) 1929 introduced first-past-the-post elections for 48 single-member constituencies (including Antrim South).
