Open Space Theatre

The UFO Club ( YEW-foh) was a short-lived British counter-culture nightclub in London in the 1960s. The club was established by Joe Boyd and John "Hoppy" Hopkins. It featured light shows, poetry readings, well-known rock acts such as Jimi Hendrix, avant-garde art by Yoko Ono, as well as local house bands such as Pink Floyd and Soft Machine. The club operated for the nine months from December 1966 to August 1967, and an additional seven months at 31 Tottenham Court Road in Fitzrovia, followed by a further two months at the Roundhouse in Chalk Farm.

Hakkasan is a Chinese restaurant first opened in Fitzrovia in London, England but has since expanded to many cities worldwide. The restaurant was founded in 2001 by Alan Yau, who was also behind the Wagamama Japanese restaurants and later the Yauatcha restaurant, also in London. It serves modern Chinese cuisine fused with Western upscale dining experience. The Hakkasan group has also branched into hospitality and entertainment including a nightclub opened in Las Vegas.

Gresse Street is a street in London that is on the border between the City of Westminster and the London Borough of Camden, the north and eastern sides being in Camden and the rest in Westminster. The street is joined by Rathbone Place, Stephen Street and Stephen Mews. The street stands on land that was once owned by the family of the painter John Alexander Gresse. The street is the home of the Fashion Retail Academy.

The Fashion Retail Academy is a vocational training college in the Tottenham Court Road area of London, England. It was founded as a National Skills Academy in 2005 by M&S, Next, Experian, F&F and Arcadia, with funding from the UK government. Philip Green, chairman of the Arcadia Group, contributed between £5 million: 126  and £12 million: 119 . It opened in 2006 with about 200 students, and has since taught over 12,000 students.The Fashion Retail Academy trains people to work in head office roles within the fashion industry, working with over 140 UK brands and retailers to provide industry enrichment like work experience. Diploma courses run from six months to two years, and undergraduate degree courses are condensed across two years. They also offer fashion and retail apprenticeships. In 2022, the Academy launched specialist online courses.In April 2017, students from the college took part in the Future Retail Challenge at the World Retail Congress in Dubai.Molly-Mae Hague, an English social media influencer and runner-up in the fifth series of reality dating show Love Island, studied at the Fashion Retail Academy. She has been the creative director of fashion brand PrettyLittleThing since 2021. Several alumni have also been chosen as part of Drapers 30 Under 30 including Thom Scherdel, a buyer at The Idle Man, in 2015 and Alannah Gold, international digital trading manager at River Island, in 2022.

The Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, commonly referred to as the AA, is the oldest independent school of architecture in the UK and one of the most prestigious and competitive in the world. Its wide-ranging programme of exhibitions, lectures, symposia and publications have given it a central position in global discussions and developments within contemporary architectural culture.

Percy Street is a street in the London Borough of Camden that runs from Rathbone Street in the west to Tottenham Court Road in the east. At its western end it is joined by Rathbone Place and Charlotte Street. Nearby Percy Mews is off Rathbone Place. The street was built in the 1760s and is known for the number of artists that have lived there.

Rook & Raven was a contemporary art gallery based in Fitzrovia, London. It was co-owned by Richard Grindy & Rachelle Lunnon. Opening in 2011, it closed in 2017.

The Rising Sun is a public house at 46 Tottenham Court Road, Fitzrovia, London, W1T 2ED, managed by Taylor Walker. It is a Grade II listed building with English Heritage.The art nouveau Gothic building was designed by Victorian architects Treadwell and Martin. In the early 1980s the pub was renamed "The Presley" and decorated with images of Elvis Presley, the owners lowering the ceiling and destroying the Victorian interior. The pub was renamed The Rising Sun by its next owners.

The Building Centre is a building in central London used to promote innovation in the built environment. It is run by the Built Environment Trust, a charitable body.

The Seven Dials Jazz Club opened its doors in 1980 as a venue for live music in Covent Garden, London. It hosted a range of artists and styles of jazz and began to attract a regular audience. Starting in 1983, a series of saxophone festivals was held on the premises each year. It started in the Seven Dials Community Centre on Shelton Street and later moved nearby to 46 Earlham Street, opposite the Donmar Warehouse. In 1986 it moved to the Black Horse, 6 Rathbone Place, Fitzrovia.

The High Commission of Barbados in London is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Barbados in the United Kingdom. Among the initial diplomatic missions to be established by Barbados after the attainment of independence from Britain, the office was initially located at 28 Cockspur Street where it shared a joint mission with Guyana (formerly British Guiana). In the early 1970s the mission relocated to 6 Upper Belgrave Street, London. Barbados' High Commission remained at that location until the mid 1980s when it moved to its present location at the corner of 1 Great Russell Street in London's Bloomsbury neighbourhood (within the Borough of Camden). The High Commission is maintained by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Barbados and houses the head office of the Barbados Maritime Ship Registry (BMSR). The present High Commissioner is Milton Inniss, appointed on 1 October 2018, who replaced the Rev. Guy Hewitt.The chancery also houses an office of the Barbados Tourism Authority. However, it utilises 263 Tottenham Court Road as its address, which is on the building's western end.In October 2012 the Parliament of Barbados voted on a measure to allocate funds to rehabilitate and refurbish the London High Commission Chancery.

Rathbone Place is a street in central London that runs roughly north-west from Oxford Street to Percy Street. it is joined on its eastern side by Percy Mews, Gresse Street, and Evelyn Yard. The street is mainly occupied by retail and office premises.
