Makalös

Operakällaren is a classic and exclusive restaurant in Kungsträdgården, Stockholm. It is owned through the Nobis corporation by Alessando Catenacci. Operakällaren opened in 1787, and during its first decades it was an ordinary restaurant. In the 1830s, it became known for its clientele, many of which were artists and politicians. In the 1870s, Operakällaren was refurbished into a more exclusive restaurant by then owner Bengt Carlsson.The restaurant had linen tablecloths and napkins on the tables, and the walls was covered with wooden panels. The ladies of Stockholm's socialite were invited and a new trend of serving coffee was introduced. The restaurant was originally called Terrassen ("The Terrace") after its open-air section.The Opera bar was opened in 1905 so the restaurant could compete with other exclusive restaurants in the area, among the regular clients were Anders Zorn and Albert Engström. In the 1950s, the restaurant was run-down and the company had been losing money for several years. Bar owner Tore Wretman who owned other restaurants, took on the challenge to bring the restaurant back to its former glory.A new modern kitchen, a wine cellar and a new open-air serving area was built. The renovation took six years and Operakällaren was officially reopened again in 1961. Architects for the project were Peter Celsing and Nils Tesch. Werner Vögeli became head chef. In 2010, Operakällaren lost its star in the Michelin Guide, but regained it in 2014, under the new head chef Stefano Catenacci.

Arsenalsgatan is a street on Blasieholmen peninsula in central Stockholm. Arsenalsgatan passes through Blasieholmstorg and is a partly pedestrianised street.

Kungsträdgården is a station of the Stockholm metro, located in the district of Norrmalm. It is the end station of line 10 and line 11 and was opened on 30 October 1977, as the 91st station and part of the one-station extension from T-Centralen. The platform is located approximately 34 meters underground. The station features relics rescued from the many buildings pulled down during the redevelopment of central Stockholm during the 1950s and 1960s throughout the station. The entrance to the station was originally intended to be in the park Kungsträdgården, but due to the Elm Conflict in 1971 these plans had to change.

Strömbron (Swedish: "The Stream Bridge") is a 140-metre-long (460 ft) viaduct in central Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching over Norrström, it is connecting the old city Gamla stan to the northern-central district Norrmalm, or, more specifically, to Blasieholmen near the park Kungsträdgården.

Mindre teatern (The Smaller Theatre), Nya teatern (The New Theatre), Lindeberska teatern (The Lindeberg Theatre), was a Swedish theatre at Kungsgatan in Stockholm, active 1842–1863. The building was used as localities for the Royal Dramatic Theatre in 1863–1908.

Café Opera is a café and nightclub in Stockholm, Sweden in the Royal Swedish Opera building and part of the Opera Cellar (Operakällaren). It serves as a bistro, brasserie and tearoom during the day but becomes one of Sweden's most famous and busiest nightclubs after 10pm. It opened in 1980. On the ceiling are paintings by Vicke Andrén. The club is also a former football club named FC Café Opera, founded in 1991 and which played in the Swedish Second League until 2005 when it merged with Väsby IK to form FC Väsby United.

Norrström is one of the shortest rivers in Europe in central Stockholm. It connects Lake Mälaren with the Baltic Sea. It runs from Riddarfjärden, north of Gamla stan, to Stockholms ström (the western part of Saltsjön). Two islands lie within it, Strömsborg and Helgeandsholmen. It is one of two natural waterways between Mälaren and the Baltic sea, the other being Söderström south of Gamla stan. Norrström is crossed by Centralbron and the adjacent pedestrian bridge, Vasabron, Riksbron north of Helgeandsholmen which continues into Riksgatan and Stallbron south of the island, Norrbro crossing Helgeandsholmen, and Strömbron. While the majority of the river flows north of Helgeandsholmen, a small controlled portion known as the Stallkanalen runs south of the island, between it and Gamla stan. As the water level of Mälaren is usually higher than that of the Baltic, the current normally runs from west to east. Norrström is not navigable for traffic between Mälaren and the Baltic, though whitewater kayakers often use it for training. A great number of fish species can be caught there, among them sea trout and salmon, which makes Norrström a popular destination for sport fishers.

Kungsträdgården (Swedish for "King's Garden") is a park in central Stockholm, Sweden. It is colloquially known as Kungsan. The park's central location and its outdoor cafés makes it one of the most popular hangouts and meeting places in Stockholm. It also hosts open-air concerts and events in summer, while offering an ice rink during winters. There is also a number of cafés, art galleries and restaurants; for example Galleri Doktor Glas, a name taken from the novel Doctor Glas by Hjalmar Söderberg published in 1905. The park is divided into four distinct spaces (south to north): (1) Square of Charles XII; (2) Molin's Fountain; (3); Square of Charles XIII and (4) "Fountain of Wolodarski" (which does not have an official name). The park is administered and events in it organized by the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.

Royal Swedish Opera (Swedish: Kungliga Operan) is an opera and ballet company based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Saint Eugenia's Church is a Roman Catholic church in the center of Stockholm (Sweden). It was built in 1982 on plans of the Danish architect Jørgen Kjaergaard and is situated next to the former Royal Gardens, Kungsträdgården in Norrmalm. The Church is consecrated to Saint Eugenia (Eugénie d’Alsace), an abbess (700-735) of the monastery Mont Sainte-Odile in Alsace (France). St. Eugenia's Parish was established in 1837 and is the oldest Catholic parish in Sweden since the reformation; as of 2010 it has approximately 9,000 members. Services are held in Swedish, English, Polish and Arabic. The operation of the church and pastoral care of the parish is overseen by Jesuits.

Strömparterren is a park located in Norrström east of Norrbro on Helgeandsholmen in central Stockholm (Sweden). The park was built in 1830.At the far end of the semi-circular park stands Carl Milles' sculpture Solsångaren, which was erected in 1926 in memory of Esaias Tegnér. The statue depicts Tegnér's poem Sång till solen (Song to the Sun). On the Strömparterren there is another sculpture, Dimman, a female figure in bronze by Gusten Lindberg, erected in 1910. From the Strömparterren you can also reach the Medieval Museum, which has its premises under Norrbro.

Saint James's Church (Swedish: Sankt Jacobs kyrka) is a church in central Stockholm, Sweden, dedicated to apostle Saint James the Greater, patron saint of travellers. It is often mistakenly called St Jacob's. The confusion arises because Swedish, like many other languages, uses the same name for both James and Jacob. Arguably the most central church in the Swedish capital, surrounded by the popular park Kungsträdgården, the Royal Opera, the square Gustav Adolfs torg; and near Sergels torg, the Royal Palace, and governmental office Rosenbad, the parish of the church was limited to 150 souls in the late 1980s, and was thus merged into the parish of the Stockholm Cathedral in 1989. A bust of Swedish tenor Jussi Björling (1911-1960) stands outside. The church took a long time to complete. As a consequence it includes a wide range of architectural styles, such as Late Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. The building is based on the design of multiple architects over the centuries: Willem Boy (1580–93), Hans Ferster (1635–43), Göran Joshuae Adelcrantz and Carl Hårleman (1723–35), Carl Möller and Agi Lindegren (1893–94).
