Norton Air Force Base (IATA: SBD) (1942–1994) was a United States Air Force facility 2 miles (3.2 km) east of downtown San Bernardino in San Bernardino County, California.

Indian Springs High School is a comprehensive high school in the San Bernardino City Unified School District, California. The eighth high school built in the district, it opened on August 1, 2012, the first day of the 2012-2013 school year. It was built on the site of the former Curtis Middle School. The school is part of the Freelance League.

Splash Kingdom Waterpark (formerly known as Pharaoh's Lost Kingdom) was a water park, trampoline park, minigolf course, arcade and concert venue located in Redlands, California. The 17-acre property was opened in 1996 by James Braswell, seeking to diversify from his family’s chain of senior care facilities. Attractions included an interior arcade, miniature golf, go-karts, bumper boats, laser tag, and water slides. The main building was topped by a pyramid and featured a giant pharaoh’s head looming over the entrance.Over the years, many of the outdoor attractions closed during a series of ownership changes, code violations, and troubles with the city. It was renamed Splash Kingdom in 2006 as the focus shifted to the water park. The interior was transformed into a trampoline park in 2012. The owners, Dan Martinez, and Ryan Sauter, took over the property in 2017. They had the pharaoh’s head, most of the Egyptian decorations, and attractions such as the miniature golf removed in 2018. The city revoked their permit to operate but later restored it.In May 2020, a massive fire on the property caused $750,000 in damages. After inspection, the park’s license to operate was revoked on October 13, 2020. Soon after on October 16, 2020 there was another fire, followed by a third in February 2021.By 2021, the remaining buildings of Splash Kingdom were demolished. There is a preliminary application to build a warehouse on the property but city officials are considering rezoning the site for residential use to meet state housing requirements.

San Bernardino–Tippecanoe station is a rail station located on Tippecanoe Avenue in San Bernardino, California. The station opened on October 24, 2022, and is served directly by the Arrow rail line. Metrolink's San Bernardino Line express trains to Redlands–Downtown utilize the main track, but do not stop at this station. Arrow trains run every day between approximately between 5:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. Trains arrive every 30 minutes in the early morning and evening and every 60 minutes from mid-morning to mid-afternoon. On weekends, trains run between 7:30 a.m. and 10 p.m., arriving every 60 minutes, except for a few hours without trains in the morning and afternoon.

Kaawchama (Hispanicized to Guachama), alternatively referred to as Wa’aachnga ("plenty to eat"), was a significant Tongva village in the San Bernardino Valley located in what is now west Redlands, California. The village became referred to by the Spanish as the Guachama Rancheria in 1810 after a supply station was constructed at the village for Mission San Gabriel, which then became part of Rancho San Bernardino following the secularization of the missions in 1833.

Patton is an unincorporated community in San Bernardino County, California, United States. Patton is 4.5 miles (7.2 km) northeast of downtown San Bernardino. Patton has a post office with ZIP code 92369, which opened in 1897.It may be best known as the site for a large, state-run forensic psychiatric Patton State Hospital which was opened in 1893. DSH-Patton provides treatment to forensically and civilly committed patients within a secure treatment area. As of 2020, the hospital operates with approximately 1,527 beds. The term "Patton" is oftentimes used as a joke for people in the area. Local adolescents would tell each other, "you are so crazy, you belong in Patton".

The Highland Historic District is a historic district encompassing some of the oldest parts of Highland, California. The district includes the city's original townsite, which was platted in 1891, and parts of a 1904 addition; significant development in the district continued through 1938. Development in Highland was driven by the citrus industry, Southern California's dominant industry at the time; as Highland was located at the junction of the busy Palm Avenue and the newly completed Santa Fe Railroad, it became a natural industrial center. The district includes the numerous packing houses built along the railroad as well as the city's historic commercial core on Palm Avenue. The houses built in the district also reflect the citrus industry's influence on the city. Wealthy citrus growers lived in the large houses on West Main Street, while citrus workers lived in smaller cottages spread throughout the district.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 5, 2001.
