Quilty, County Clare

Kilmurry Ibrickane (Irish: Cill Mhuire Uí Bhreacáin) is a civil parish in County Clare, Ireland, The parish is part of the historic barony of Ibrickane. In 1837, it was co-extensive with the parish of the Established Church and of the Catholic Church. The civil parish contains the tiny settlement of Kilmurry which was the location of the church before the Cromwellian conquest of Ireland. Today, an ecclesiastical parish in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Killaloe of the same name exists which covers part of the civil parish. In the Church of Ireland, the parish is part of the "Drumcliffe Union with Kilnasoolagh" which covers the western part of the county of Clare, roughly that part located to the west of the M18 motorway.

The GAA club, Kilmurry Ibrickane GAA, is centred on the parish.

The Atlantic Hotel is a former hotel in Spanish Point, County Clare, Ireland. It was built around 1810 by Thomas Moroney, a member of the family of local landlords. For quite a while it boasted the title "Biggest Hotel on the British Isles".

Spanish Point (Irish: Rinn na Spáinneach) is a village in the parish of Milltown Malbay in County Clare on the west coast of Ireland. It has many holiday homes, and in winter a significantly smaller population. It is also one of the better known surf breaks in County Clare. The name refers to the wrecking of some ships of the Spanish Armada off the coast.

Ibrickane (or Ibrickan) is one of the ancient baronies of Ireland. It is a geographical division of County Clare. It is sub-divided into four civil parishes.

The Willie Clancy Summer School (Irish Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy) is Ireland's largest traditional music summer school held annually since 1973 in memory of the uilleann piper Willie Clancy. During the week, nearly a thousand students from every part of the world attend daily classes taught by experts in Irish music and dance. In addition, a full program of lectures, recitals, dances (céilithe) and exhibitions are run by the summer school. All events happen in the town of Milltown Malbay, in County Clare, on the west coast of Ireland, during the week beginning with the first Saturday of July. The weekly registration includes six classes, all lectures and recitals (except the Saturday concert) and reduced price admission to céilithe. Lectures, recitals, concert and céilithe are open to the public.

Milltown Malbay (Irish: Sráid na Cathrach, meaning 'street of the stone ringfort'), also Miltown Malbay, is a town in the west of County Clare, Ireland, near Spanish Point. The population was 829 at the 2016 Census.

Kilfarboy, or Milltown Malbay is a parish in County Clare and part of the Críocha Callan grouping of parishes within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Killaloe.Current (2022) co-parish priest is Donagh O'Meara.

Mutton Island (Irish: Oileán Caorach) is an uninhabited island and townland off the coast of County Clare, Ireland, about 1.5 km (0.9 mi) from the mainland. The nearest village is Quilty, which is roughly 3.5 km (2.2 mi) from the island. It is used mainly for grazing sheep, and is host to several abandoned houses and two forts. There is no public ferry service to the island, on which there is no jetty or boat slipway. It contains no roofed buildings, but there is a limited supply of fresh water.

Cree or Creegh (Irish: An Chríoch) is a small village in County Clare in Ireland. It is situated at a crossroads near the villages of Doonbeg and Cooraclare in the west of the county. The nearest large towns are Kilrush and Ennis which are 7 and 26 miles (11 and 42 km) away respectively. In Dromheilly Cree there is a shrine which August has a week of masses. Cree is in the ecclesiastical parish of Cree/Cooraclare parish and in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Killaloe. Nearby villages and small towns include Cooraclare, Doonbeg, Mullagh, Quilty, Kilmihil, Kilkee and Milltown Malbay.
