Plichtów

Gmina Nowosolna is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Łódź East County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It has its seat in the former village of Nowosolna, although this is now part of the Widzew district of Łódź, and is therefore not part of the territory of the gmina. The gmina covers an area of 53.98 square kilometres (20.8 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 3,788. The gmina contains part of the protected area called Łódź Hills Landscape Park.

Łódź Hills Landscape Park (Park Krajobrazowy Wzniesień Łódzkich) is a protected area (Landscape Park) in central Poland, established in 1996, covering an area of 137.67 square kilometres (53.15 sq mi). The Park lies within Łódź Voivodeship: in Brzeziny County (Gmina Brzeziny, Gmina Dmosin), Łódź East County (Gmina Nowosolna) and Zgierz County (Gmina Stryków, Gmina Zgierz). Within the Landscape Park are three nature reserves.
