The Islamic Religio-Cultural Center (Slovene: Islamski versko-kulturni center), colloquially known as the Ljubljana mosque (Džamija v Ljubljani or Ljubljanska mošeja) is an Islamic mosque and cultural-center complex in the Bežigrad district of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It is the culmination of a decades-long effort by the Islamic Community of Slovenia. A library, a classroom, an ablution fountain and the Imam's offices and quarters are included in the complex.

The Exhibition and Convention Centre (Slovene: Gospodarsko razstavišče) in Ljubljana is a venue for organising domestic and international fairs as well as other events. The building complex stands in the Bežigrad District, between Vienna Street (Dunajska cesta, Vilhar Street (Vilharjeva cesta), and Robba Street (Robbova ulica), north of the Ljubljana railway station. It is operated by the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre company. The basic mission of the company is the organization of various events where the exhibitors and visitors meet and cooperate creatively.

Emonika, also named the Emonika City Centre or Ljubljana Emonika Passenger Centre (Slovene: Potniški center Ljubljana Emonika), is a construction project including a new bus and railway station at Liberation Front Square (Trg Osvobodilne fronte), near Ljubljana railway station, as well as in the nearby area in the Center District of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It will also provide a new business and residential complex.

The Slovenian Youth Theatre or Mladinsko Theatre (Slovene: Slovensko mladinsko gledališče) was founded in Ljubljana in 1955 as the first professional theater for children and youth in Slovenia. It is situated in the Baraga Seminary, which was built by architect Jože Plečnik in the center of Ljubljana. In the 1980s, it became a center of theatrical research and politically-engaged theater. It is known for a wide range of innovative poetics of different directors and an ensemble energy, a Peter Brook-like approach to acting with a laboratory for theatre research for actors, directors, choreographers and musicians to research, develop, and create.

Spodnja Šiška (pronounced [ˈspoːdnja ˈʃiːʃka]; German: Unterschischka) is a formerly independent settlement in the northwest part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.

Šiška Sports Park (Slovene: Športni park Šiška) is a multi-purpose sports venue in Ljubljana. The venue includes a main football stadium with outdoor track and field, an athletics hall, two football fields with artificial turf, and tennis courts. The main football stadium is commonly named ŽAK Stadium (Slovene: Stadion ŽAK) and was used for matches in the Slovenian PrvaLiga by NK Ljubljana, NK Interblock and NK Olimpija Ljubljana. Currently, the stadium is used by NK Bravo and ŠD NK Ljubljana. The stadium has a capacity of 2,308 seats and was built in 1930. It is owned by the City of Ljubljana. Previously, it was operated by the Railway Sports Association Ljubljana (Slovene: Železničarsko športno društvo Ljubljana (ŽŠD Ljubljana)).

Argentina Park (Slovene: Argentinski park) is the name of a park in the center of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Formerly known as Lenin Park, it was renamed in the 1990s to commemorate the friendly relations between Argentina and Slovenia. A part of the park was renamed Park slovenske reformacije (Slovene Reformation Park) in 2000.

The tram system in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, was originally built in 1901 and was operated until 1958. Slovenia was then part of Austria-Hungary and Yugoslavia, respectively. Work started in 1900 and the tram was put in use after postponements and without a special ceremony on 6 September 1901. The tram system's end came on 20 December 1958, when it was replaced in a ceremony by 12 buses.

The Bežigrad District (Slovene: Četrtna skupnost Bežigrad), or simply Bežigrad (pronunciation ), is a district (mestna četrt) of the City Municipality of Ljubljana. It encompasses the northern part of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, between the southern rail line to the south, the Upper Carniola (or Kamnik) rail line to the west, the highway loop to the north, and Šmartno Street (Šmartinska cesta) and Žale Cemetery to the east. It extends on both sides of Vienna Street (Dunajska cesta), which is its central axis and main traffic artery. In the narrow sense, it includes the neighborhoods of Bežigrad, Brinje, Nove Stožice ('New Stožice', also known also as BS3), and Sava Development (Savsko naselje). In the broader sense, Bežigrad is sometimes considered to include the northern Ljubljana suburbs of Stožice, Ježica, and the Črnuče District. Bežigrad is primarily a residential district. Along Vienna Street there are some sections with high concentrations of shops and businesses. There is a small industrial zone in the northwest part of the district. Its buildings are generally low (up to six floors), and single-family dwellings and raw houses predominate. Larger communities of apartment buildings are concentrated on the district's eastern edge, in Nove Stožice and the Sava Development. Important institutions and features of Bežigrad include the Slovenian Environmental Agency, the Stožice Sports Park and the Stožice Stadium, the Bežigrad Central Stadium designed by Jože Plečnik, the Bežigrad Secondary School, Navje Cemetery, Plečnik's unfinished Academic Collegium (intended to serve as the Baraga Seminary), Žale Cemetery, and the Ljubljana Fairgrounds. The older part of Bežigrad has many large houses from the interwar period. Savings Bank Street (Hranilniška ulica) stands out in particular. It is the oldest street in Bežigrad, created in the 1880s. There is also the Islamic Religious and Cultural Center, the first mosque in Slovenia, known as the Ljubljana Mosque, completed in February 2020.

The Courthouse (Slovene: Sodna palača) in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, is a 19th-century building in the central district of the city that has for many years served as the seat of various regional courts of law. The Courthouse was built after the earthquake in 1895 and it was renovated in the early 1950s. In the late 1940s, it was used for the show trials against opponents of the Yugoslav Titoist regime in the Socialist Republic of Slovenia. The most famous were the so-called Rožman trial in 1945, the Nagode trial in 1946 and the Dachau trials in 1947. The courthouse underwent an extensive renovation in 2007 and 2008. In 2008, Slovenian Minister of Justice Lovro Šturm announced that in three years time most of the courts of law housed in the building would move to new headquarters near the Ljubljana railway station.

The General Maister Monument (Slovene: Spomenik generala Maistra) is a bronze equestrian statue of Rudolf Maister that stands in a park at Liberation Front Square (Trg Osvobodilne fronte) in front of the Ljubljana railway station. It was created in 1999 by Jakov Brdar as a tribute of the City of Ljubljana to Maister, the first Slovene major general, who secured for Slovenia the city of Maribor.

Bežigrad Gymnasium (Slovene: Gimnazija Bežigrad) is a selective coeducational state secondary school for students aged between 15 and 20. It is named after the Bežigrad district in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where it is located. It is famous for its quality and for eminent alumni and is regarded as one of the top grammar schools in Central Europe. For a number of years it has been the school with the highest admission requirements in Slovenia and the school with the best national external examination results in the country. Bežigrad has produced a number of distinguished politicians, academics and businessmen. It has also produced more NBA league players than any other high school in the world outside of the United States.
