Har Halutz (Hebrew: הַר חָלוּץ, lit. Pioneer Hill), officially known as Halutz (Hebrew: חָלוּץ, Pioneer) is a community settlement in the central Galilee in northern Israel. Har Halutz is located in the rocky terrain of Gush Tefen and belongs to the Misgav Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 537. Har Halutz members work in nearby towns or create new employment opportunities on or near the site. Har Halutz has two office buildings with small offices that it rents to members requiring office space. The community synagogue provides worship services, festival activities and lifecycle celebrations. Community life at Har Halutz centers on holiday celebrations. Families take turns organizing the holiday activities and are given a free hand to create a memorable event for the entire community.

Peki'in (alternatively Peqi'in) (Hebrew: פְּקִיעִין) or Buqei'a (Arabic: البقيعة), is a Druze–Arab town with local council status in Israel's Northern District. It is located eight kilometres east of Ma'alot-Tarshiha in the Upper Galilee. In 2021 it had a population of 6,026. The majority of residents are Druze (78%), with a large Christian (20.8%) and Muslim (1.2%) minorities.The former Jewish community of Peki'in maintained a presence there since the Second Temple period, with an interruption of presence during the 1936–1939 Arab revolt. Most Jews in Peki'in did not return to the village after the violence, and call themselves the Hadera [city] diaspora. It is believed that the Zinatis are the only family who returned, and this family has dwindled to one member.

The Peki’in Synagogue (בית הכנסת העתיק בפקיעין), is a synagogue located in the centre of Peki'in, Northern Israel. The current building was erected in 1873, on the site of older ones. Local tradition holds that it has two stones taken from the walls of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem built into its walls.The synagogue, not usually active as of 2005, is kept by Margalit Zinati (born 1931). Zinati is a member of a Jewish family who have lived for centuries in Peki'in, reportedly since the time of the Second Temple. Margalit Zinati, the last Jewish woman in Peki'in, was honoured for her work on the 70th Independence Day in 2018, and her family home is run as a heritage site by the Education Department of the World Zionist Organization (WZO).

Nahf (Arabic: نحف, Naḥf or Nahef; Hebrew: נַחְף) is an Arab town in the Northern District of Israel. It is located in between the lower and upper Galilee, about 23 kilometres (14 mi) east of Acre. In 2021 it had a population of 13,558. Archaeologists believe that the area was an important center for viticulture in the Hellenistic period and possibly the Early Bronze Age IB period (ca. 3100 BC).

Sajur (Hebrew: סָג'וּר; Arabic: ساجور) is a Druze town (local council) in the Galilee region of northern Israel, with an area of 3,000 dunams (3 km²). It achieved recognition as an independent local council in 1992. In 2021 it had a population of 4,425.

Peki'in HaHadasha (Hebrew: פְּקִיעִין החֲדָשָׁה, lit. New Peki'in) is a moshav in northern Israel. Located near Peki'in, it falls under the jurisdiction of Ma'ale Yosef Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 577.

Kisra-Sumei (Arabic: كسرا-سميع; Hebrew: כִּסְרָא-סֻמֵיע) is a local council in the western Galilee in the Northern District of Israel. In 2021 it had a population of 9,108. In April 2019, 95% of the population were Israeli Arabs of the Druze community, with a small Christian minority. The town has a Druze holy place as well as a statue to the Druze leader and Syrian nationalist revolutionary Sultan al-Atrash. The town is the result of a merger between the villages of Kisra and Sumei and it was recognised as a local council in 1990.

Shezor (Hebrew: שְׁזוֹר) is a moshav in the Galilee in northern Israel. Located near the similarly named Arab village Sajur, it falls under the jurisdiction of Merom HaGalil Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 315.

Beit HaKerem Valley (Hebrew: בקעת בית כרם), also known as al-Shaghur (Arabic: الشاغور, romanized: al-Shāghūr), is a valley in the Galilee region in northern Israel. The valley is the dividing feature between the Upper Galilee featuring relatively high mountains and the Lower Galilee to the south, with lower mountains.The five Arab local authorities (Bi'ina, Deir al-Asad, Majd al-Krum, Nahf and Rameh) and two Jewish local authorities (Karmiel and Misgav) of the Beit HaKerem Valley have formed a "cluster" of municipalities, connecting municipal leaders to create long-term development strategies, enhance economic development, and attract and receive additional government funding.

Har HaAri (Hebrew: הר הארי, Lion Mountain; Arabic: جبل حيدر, Mount Haidar) is a mountain in the Upper Galilee in northern Israel.

Rameh (Arabic: الرامة; Hebrew: רָמָה; alternatively spelled ar-Rame or ar-Rama) is an Arab town in the Northern District of Israel. Located east of Nahf and Karmiel, in 2021 it had a population of 7,789. Over half of the inhabitants are Christians, mostly Greek Orthodox and Greek Catholic, over a third are Druze and the remainder are Muslims. A village council was established for Rameh under the British in 1922, of the first in Mandatory Palestine. Rameh's Christian and Muslim residents were temporarily expelled after its capture by Israeli forces in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, but they returned to the village, which also became home to many internally displaced Palestinians from nearby villages. A village council was established in 1954 by the Israeli government to oversee village affairs; from 1959 on, council members were elected. As of the 1960s, the people of Rameh have been noted for their high levels of education and standards of living. The village was home to the well-known poet Samih al-Qasim, the Greek Orthodox archbishop Atallah Hanna and artist Mira Awad. The village is well known for its diverse cuisine, which draws many visitors from across the country. It is also noteworthy for being surrounded by vast olive groves and for producing high-quality olive oil.

Highway 85 is an east-west highway in Northern Israel. It is one of the most important roads through the Galilee, connecting western and eastern Galilee. The road begins in Akko on the west coast of Israel and ends in the east just north of Lake Kinneret. The road begins at Highway 4 in Akko in the west and ends at Amiad junction at Highway 90 near Korzim in the east. It is 37km long. The route from Akko to Hananya junction has been used for transportation since ancient times, and it passes through the Beit HaKerem valley.
