Makishi Station (牧志駅, Makishi-eki) is a railway station on the Okinawa Urban Monorail (Yui Rail) located in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan.

Tomari (泊) is a neighborhood in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, where the Tomari Terminal of the port of Naha is located. The terminal is used for ferries and passenger vessels which connect Naha and neighboring islands.[1] Before the modern city of Naha was established, Tomari was a magiri, a type of municipality. Tomari served as the primary port for Ryukyuan ships travelling within the Ryūkyū Islands to dock and to engage in loading and unloading of their cargo. Tribute received from Amami Ōshima was handled by the local officials at Tomari.Tomari-te, a style of karate, originated in Tomari. Kyan Chōtoku and Chōki Motobu practiced this style of Okinawan karate.

Heiwa Dōri (平和通り, Peace Street) of Naha, is a shopping location and tourist attraction in Okinawa. The street features many gift shops selling wares that range from stone Shisa dogs, which are traditional statues placed on the roofs of many Okinawan homes as protection from evil, and tempura to colored glass and geta clogs.

Miebashi Station (美栄橋駅, Miebashi-eki) is one of the railway station on the Okinawa Urban Monorail (Yui Rail) located in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan.

Omoromachi Station (おもろまち駅, Omoromachi-eki) is a railway station on the Okinawa Urban Monorail (Yui Rail) located in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. In the original plans, this station was to be called Makabi Station, after the neighboring district, but opened as Omoromachi Station on August 10, 2003. The station serves the Omoromachi Shintoshin (New City Heart/Center) area, which includes a major shopping complex accessed by an elevated pedestrian deck connected directly to the station, Shintoshin Park, and the Okinawa Prefectural Museum. From just before Asato Station, through Omoromachi Station, to shortly after Furujima Station, the monorail tracks run directly above, and following, Japan National Route 330 (Asato Bypass). The station has two facing platforms with one track each. Platform 1 serves Shuri-bound trains and Platform 2 serves trains bound for Naha Airport. The chime played to announce train arrivals and departures is the traditional Okinawan folk song Danjukariyushi.

Okinawa Prefectural Library (沖縄県立図書館, Okinawa Kenritsu Toshokan) opened in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan in 1910. Iha Fuyū was the first director. The library reopened in a new building in 1983. As of 2016, the collection numbers some 708,000 items, of which almost a fifth are on open access.

The Okinawa Prefecture Government Building (Japanese: 沖縄県庁舎, Hepburn: Okinawakenchōsha) is one of the tallest buildings in Naha City, Okinawa, Japan, and is the center for Japanese governmental functions stretching across Okinawa Prefecture. There are 14 floors above ground and two below including a civic hall and government information center. The top floor houses a cafeteria where a panoramic view of Naha City can be seen. The building opened in 1990 and cost nearly 22 billion yen (about 200 million USD). It was designed by architect Kisho Kurokawa.

Naha City Museum of History (那覇市歴史博物館, Naha-shi Rekishi Hakubutsukan) opened in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, in 2006. The collection includes the National Treasure Materials relating to the Shō Family of Ryūkyū Kings. The digital museum was launched in 2014.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Naha(Latin: Nahana, Japanese: カトリック那覇教区) is a Latin suffragan diocese in the Ecclesiastical province of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Nagasaki 長崎, in southern Japan. Its cathedral episcopal see is the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (Kainan Church), located in the city of Naha (on and administrative capital of Okinawa).

Naha (那覇市, Naha-shi, Japanese: [naꜜha], Okinawan: Nāfa or Nafa) is the capital city of Okinawa Prefecture, the southernmost prefecture of Japan. As of 1 June 2019, the city has an estimated population of 317,405 and a population density of 7,939 persons per km2 (20,562 persons per sq. mi.). The total area is 39.98 km2 (15.44 sq mi) Naha is located on the East China Sea coast of the southern part of Okinawa Island, the largest of Okinawa Prefecture. The modern city was officially founded on May 20, 1921. Before that, Naha had been for centuries one of the most important and populous sites in Okinawa. Naha is the political, economic and education center of Okinawa Prefecture. In the medieval and early modern periods, it was the commercial center of the Ryūkyū Kingdom.
