The 1968 U.S. Women's Open was the 23rd U.S. Women's Open, held July 4–7 at Moselem Springs Golf Club in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania, northeast of Reading. Susie Maxwell Berning won the first of her three U.S. Women's Open titles, three shots ahead of runner-up Mickey Wright, a four-time champion. It was the second of four major titles for Berning, a newlywed of less than two months. She led wire-to-wire and bogeyed the final three holes. Defending champion Catherine Lacoste, still an amateur, finished thirteen strokes back, tied for thirteenth place.

Crystal Cave is a cave in Richmond Township, near Kutztown, in Berks County, Pennsylvania, United States, the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. It was discovered by William Merkel and John Gehret on November 12, 1871, and quickly became a popular tourist attraction.Shortly after its discovery, newspapers reported that it was "more beautiful than the famous Mammoth cave in Kentucky." The first "show cave" to open in Pennsylvania, it remains one of the oldest continuously operating show caves in the United States.

Moselem Farms Mill is a historic grist mill located in Richmond Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. The mill was built about 1860, and is a 2 1/2-story, with basement, banked brick building on a stone foundation. It measures 45 feet, 4 inches, by 50 feet. The merchant mill was built as part of an iron furnace complex.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
