The Taiwan Nougat Museum (traditional Chinese: 牛軋糖博物館; simplified Chinese: 牛轧糖博物馆; pinyin: Niúgátáng Bówùguǎn) is a museum about nougat based in Tucheng District, New Taipei, Taiwan.

ASE WeMall (Chinese: 日月光廣場; pinyin: Rì Yùe Guāng Guǎngchǎng) is a shopping center in Tucheng District, New Taipei, Taiwan that opened on July 26, 2018. It is the first and largest shopping mall in the district. Owned and operated by ASE Group, the total floor area is about 25,000 m2 (270,000 sq ft). The main core stores of the mall include Carrefour Market, Showtime Cinemas, Starbucks, Daiso and various themed restaurants. It is located within walking distance of both Tucheng metro station and Haishan metro station.

HungKuo Delin University of Technology (HDUT; Chinese: 宏國德霖科技大學; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Hông-kok Tek-lîm Kho-ki Tāi-ha̍k) is a private university in Tucheng District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. HHUT offers undergraduate and graduate programs in a range of fields, including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, business administration, visual communication design, and cultural and creative industries. The university has six colleges: the College of Engineering, the College of Business, the College of Design, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, the College of Information and Communication, and the College of Law and Public Affairs.

South Shulin (Chinese: 南樹林車站; pinyin: Nán Shùlín Chēzhàn) is a station on the Taiwan Railways Administration West Coast line located in Shulin District, New Taipei, Taiwan. South Shulin Station is located at the intersection of Zhongshan Road and Dongxing Street.

Taipei Detention Center, Agency of Corrections, Ministry of Justice (Chinese: 法務部矯正署臺北看守所; pinyin: Fǎwù bù jiǎozhèng shǔ táiběi kānshǒu; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tâi-oân Tâi-pak Khàn-siú-só͘ ), commonly known as the Tucheng Detention Center, (Chinese: 土城看守所; pinyin: Tǔ chéng kānshǒusuǒ) is a prison in Taiwan. On 1 July 1952, after the Taiwan Taipei Detention Center was separated from the Taiwan Taipei Prison, its official name changed to "Detention Center of the Taipei District Court, Taiwan." In 1975 it was relocated to Tucheng District, New Taipei City. Many political prisoners were held here and it became known as the "First Lockup Under Heaven."
