Hosseiniyeh Ershad

The Qoba Mosque (known also as Ghoba Mosque) is a Mosque in Tehran, with a view of the Alborz Mountains to the north. It is located on Ghoba (Qoba) Street between Negin Street and Khushak Street. The mosque was closed by the Shah in 1975 because of Mohammad Mofatteh's political teachings. Responding to Mir Hossein Mousavi's appeal, Iranian government legally approved a Sunday June 28, 2009, (or Tir 7th 1388 Anno Persico) peaceful prayer gathering at 6pm mourning those killed during the 2009 post-election clashes at the Qoba Mosque (or Ghoba Mosque) on Ghoba Alley [1] (North of Hosseinie Ershad Mosque on Doktor Ali-ye Shariati) in Tehran.

Doctor Shariati Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 1. It is located in Shariati Street. It is between Mirdamad Metro Station and Gholhak Metro Station. It was opened on 19 May 2009.

Affiliated to Tehran Municipality, Iranian House of Cartoon (خانه کاریکاتور ایران) was founded in 1996. In addition to hosting temporary exhibitions & acting as an educational center of cartoon & animation, it has been the permanent secretariat of Tehran International Cartoon Biennial. Pasdaran (Persian: پاسداران) is a neighborhood of northern Tehran centered on Pasdaran Avenue. This avenue connects Niavaran avenue (from the north) to Shariati avenue (in the south). It is about 8–9 km long and is a major commercial thoroughfare for northern Tehran together with northern parts of two other long streets: Valiasr Street and Shariati Street. Pasdaran in Persian means "guardians". Prior to 1979 Revolution this neighborhood was known as Saltanat Abad (سلطنت آباد), which means "built by the monarchy", and refers to the palace of the Shah (Mohammad Reza Pahlavi), situated at the northernmost tip of this street. Pasdaran Ave., along with the network of streets that extend out from it, make up the Pasdaran Neighborhood of Tehran, which includes areas like Farmaniye, Darrous, Rostam Abad, Saltanat Abad, Zarrabkhaneh, Mehran, Ekhtiyariyeh, Ehteshamiyeh, Doulat, Dibaji, and Chizar. Although business and commerce is part of a trend towards increasing urbanity in the district (mainly witnessed along the district's northern edge near Farmaniye), the majority of the area's housing remains relatively suburban in nature, consisting mostly of mansions (often stereotypically Persian palaces) and townhomes or duplexes.

The Ministry of Intelligence of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Persian: وزارت اطّلاعات جمهوری اسلامی ایران, romanized: Vezarat-e Ettela'at Jomhuri-ye Eslami-ye Iran) is the primary intelligence agency of the Islamic Republic of Iran and a member of the Iran Intelligence Community. It is also known as VAJA and previously as VEVAK (Vezarat-e Ettela'at va Amniyat-e Keshvar) or alternatively MOIS. It was initially known as SAVAMA, after it took over the Shah's intelligence apparatus SAVAK. The ministry is one of the three "sovereign" ministerial bodies of Iran due to nature of its work at home and abroad.

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Tehran was attacked on 27 January 2023, at around 08:00 a.m. local time. The perpetrator passed by the guard post with a Kalashnikov rifle and opened fire inside the embassy, while its staff tried to neutralize him. The head of the embassy's security service, Orkhan Asgarov, was killed in the attack, while two guards were injured. Shortly after, a suspect was detained by Iranian police. The State Security Service of Azerbaijan opened a criminal investigation of the attack. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev strongly condemned the attack. The Azerbaijani side regarded the incident as a "terrorist act". The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan announced evacuation of the embassy personnel in Tehran. On 29 January Azerbaijan evacuated most of the embassy staff from Tehran and suspended the embassy's operation. Iranian officials did not consider the attack to be politically motivated. Iran's law enforcement agencies stated that the attack was committed on personal grounds, and that the perpetrator came to the scene with two young children, though CCTV footage released from the embassy shows that he was alone during the attack.

Mirdamad Boulevard is the center of Davoodiyeh district in the north of Tehran. The boulevard starts from Valiasr Street in its west and continues eastward passing Mother Square up to Shariati street. Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran is located in this boulevard. There are some other important buildings in this boulevard too, for example Eskan towers, Payetakht Computer Center and Arian Mall. There are also some classy boutiques and malls in Mirdamad, most of which located at the eastern part of the street, near Maadar (formerly and still known as Mohseni) Sq. where you can find expensive and designer brands and many young and rich people who can afford it.

Borj-e Sefid (Persian: برج سفید) is a building located in Pasdaran district in Tehran, Iran. The Borj-e Sefid (which translates to "White Tower" in English) is a high-rise building built along Pasdaran Ave, within which is contained a shopping center as well as many offices. The building has cemented Pasdaran's status as an upscale suburb of Tehran, raising the area's profile and spurring a series of developments in the surrounding areas. It is home to the revolving restaurant of Borj-e Sefid at the top floor of the building. Although the building is a center of business and commerce and is part of a trend towards increasing urbanity in the district (mainly witnessed along the district's northern edge near Farmanieh), the majority of the area's housing remains relatively suburban in nature, consisting mostly of mansions and townhomes or duplexes.

The Tower of Bank Markazi (Persian: برج بانک مرکزی) is a high-rise building located in Davoodiyeh neighborhood of Tehran, between Shahid Haghani Expressway and Mirdamad Boulevard. Its facade is made of dark blue reflective glass, acting as sun protection and preventing free sight into the building. The building belongs to the Central Bank of Iran.

Seyed Khandan is a locality of the city of Tehran in Iran. It is the junction of Shariati Street and Resalat Highway, near the Resalat district.

The National Library and Archives of Iran (NLAI) or National Library of the Islamic Republic of Iran is located in Tehran, Iran, with twelve branches across the country. The NLAI is an educational, research, scientific, and service institute authorized by the Islamic Consultative Assembly. Its president is appointed by the President of Iran. The NLAI is the largest library in the Middle East and includes more than fifteen-million items in its collections.

Mirdamad Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 1, located next to Mirdamad Boulevard. It was opened on 19 May 2009. The station has an outdoor parking facility for commuters.
