Maynooth Post Primary School is a coeducational multidenominational secondary school in Maynooth, County Kildare, Ireland.

Kilcloon or Kilclone (Irish: Coill Chluana, meaning 'woodland of the meadow') is a parish situated in the south-east of County Meath in Ireland. Kilcloon parish is largely rural and contains the village of Kilcloon itself and the neighbouring villages of Batterstown and Mulhussey. The parish church is located at Ballynare Cross Roads in the village of Kilcloon with chapels in Kilcock and Batterstown.

It caters for the sporting and social needs of residential areas adjacent to its location for all ages through the promotion of Gaelic games — Gaelic football, hurling, camogie and handball. Maynooth are the winners of two county senior football championships in 1896 and 1913 and two senior hurling championships in 1937 and 1939.

Maynooth University Town F.C. are a football club from Maynooth, County Kildare, in Ireland. The club compete in the Leinster Senior League. In 2021, they reached the quarter-finals of the FAI Cup where they lost 4-0 against Bohemian.

Laraghbryan (Irish: Láithreach Briúin) is the site of an old monastic settlement, cemetery and ruined church, 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) west of Maynooth, County Kildare, Ireland. It is the site of a graveyard which is in use by the Roman Catholic Parish of Maynooth. The ruined church consists of a nave and chancel with a tower attached, most of the ruined structure was part of a church built in Norman times, however this church was built on the site of a previous ecclesiastical settlement. In 1770 when the first Duke of Leinster restored Saint Mary's Church of Ireland in Maynooth, the wooden East Window was removed from Laraghbryan and installed in Saint Mary's, where it is today.

The National University of Ireland, Maynooth (NUIM; Irish: Ollscoil na hÉireann Mhá Nuad), commonly known as Maynooth University (MU) (Irish: Ollscoil Mhá Nuad), is a constituent university of the National University of Ireland in Maynooth, County Kildare, Ireland. It was Ireland's youngest university until Technological University Dublin was established in 2019, having been founded by the Universities Act, 1997, from the secular faculties of the now separate St Patrick's College, Maynooth, which was founded in 1795. Maynooth is also the only university town in Ireland, all other universities being based within cities. The university consists of two connected campuses: an older southern campus, with 19th-century buildings, shared with St Patrick's College, and, across a public road, a modern northern campus, occupying circa 100 acres (0.40 km2).Over 13,000 are students enrolled, and over 900 staff from over 20 different countries are employed In 2009, Maynooth University was listed as a Top500 university in the Times Higher Education-QS World University Rankings. In 2008, it was named The Sunday Times 'University of the Year'.

Kilcock (Irish: Cill Choca, meaning 'Coca's Church') is a town and townland in the north of County Kildare, Ireland, on the border with County Meath. One of the fastest growing towns in the country, its population of 8,674 makes it the seventh largest town in County Kildare and 61st largest in Ireland. The town is located 35 kilometres (22 mi) west of Dublin, and is on the Royal Canal. It is in a civil parish of the same name.Local industries include a large Musgrave Group distribution centre, which supplies SuperValu and Centra stores across much of the country.

Passengers change at Maynooth to travel to stations on the Dublin to Maynooth and Dublin to M3 Parkway Commuter services.
