Nareit is a Washington, D.C.-based association representing a large and diverse industry that includes equity real estate investment trusts (REITs), mortgage REITs (mREITs), REITs traded on major stock exchanges, public non-listed REITs, and private REITs. Nareit is the voice for REITs and publicly traded real estate with an interest in U.S. real estate and capital markets. Nareit is also an informational resource for policymakers in countries around the world that have introduced or are considering introducing REITs. It is recognized as the leading public resource on the REIT industry, and it provides performance data on REITs dating back to 1972. Nareit’s mission is to actively advocate for REIT-based real estate investment with policymakers and the global investment community. Nareit’s members are REITs and other businesses throughout the world that own, operate, and finance income-producing real estate, as well as those firms and individuals who advise, study, and service those businesses.[5] It is run by an independent executive board[6] led by President and CEO Steven A. Wechsler.[7]

The Washington Heights Historic District is located in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The historic district includes 347 contributing properties that date from 1891-1950. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Holmead's Burying Ground, also known as Holmead's Cemetery and the Western Burial Ground, was a historic 2.94-acre (11,900 m2) cemetery located in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C., in the United States. It was founded by Anthony Holmead in 1794 as a privately owned secular cemetery open to the public. The city of Washington, D.C., constructed the Western Burial Ground on the remainder of the city block in 1798, and the two burial grounds became synonymous. The city took ownership of the private Holmead cemetery in 1820. The unified cemetery went into steep decline around 1850, and it was closed on March 6, 1874. Removal of remains, most of which were reinterred at Graceland Cemetery or Rock Creek Cemetery, continued until 1885.

The L. Ron Hubbard House, also known as the Original Founding Church of Scientology, is a writer's house museum and former Scientology church located at 1812 19th Street NW in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C., United States. Public tours are given on a regular basis. The operating Founding Church is now located at 1424 16th Street for services, bookstore and classes. The home served as the residence of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard from 1955 until 1959, during which time he incorporated the Founding Church of Scientology and performed the first Scientology wedding. The building is a contributing property to the Dupont Circle Historic District, a neighborhood listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Embassy of Eswatini in Washington, D.C. is the Kingdom of Eswatini's diplomatic mission to the United States. It's located at 1712 New Hampshire Avenue, Northwest, Washington, D.C., in the Dupont Circle neighborhood.The Ambassador is Ephraim M. Hlophe.

The Fund for American Studies is a conservative non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. Founded in 1967, the organization's mission is "to win over each new generation to the ideas of liberty, limited government and free markets."

Olympics Grounds was a baseball grounds located in Washington, D.C. It was home to the Washington Olympics of the National Association in 1871–1872 and home to the short-lived Washington clubs of 1873 and 1875, including the Washington Blue Legs. It is considered a major league ballpark by those who count the NA as a major league. The ballfield was located at 16th Street NW (east); 17th Street NW (west); and S Street NW (south); about a mile west-southwest of the eventual site of Griffith Stadium. The neighborhood is now a combination of residences and commercial businesses.

It's located at 1708 New Hampshire Avenue, Northwest, Washington, D.C., in the Dupont Circle neighborhood. The Eritrean Consulate office in Oakland, California was closed on 1 October 2007.The Ambassador is Ghirmai Ghebremariam.

The Thomas Nelson Page House is an historic house located in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1975. The building currently serves as headquarters for the American Institute for Cancer Research.
