Solrød is a municipality in Region Sjælland on the east coast of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in east Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 40 km², and has a total population of 23,794 (2022). Its mayor is Emil Blücher, a member of the Liberal Alliance political party. The municipal seat is Solrød Strand.

Køge Nord (North) Station is an Intercity, regional and S-train station that opened on 1 June 2019 in Køge, Denmark. It is about 35 km southwest of Copenhagen. The station and the Copenhagen–Ringsted Line constitute part of the Fehmarn Belt connection to Germany, and also the main line to western Denmark. It will allow passengers to change trains between high-speed rail services and S-trains, as well as regional services. Crown Prince Frederik inaugurated the station on 31 May 2019. The six platforms are built on each side of an eight-lane motorway (two S-train platforms to the east; the main line platforms to the west) and are connected by a 225-metre pedestrian bridge. The high-speed line between Ny Ellebjerg and Ringsted is now completed, but adjustments are needed at Ringsted station before trains can start running at 250 km/h. S-trains and a limited regional service began using Køge Nord the day after its inauguration. Intercity services started in December 2019.The station was chosen as a world selection for the 2020 edition of the Prix Versailles in the passenger stations category, and won the special prize exterior.

Lille Skensved is a small railway town located in Køge and Solrød municipalities, at the railway line Lille Syd between Roskilde and Køge about 7 kilometres north of Køge. The total population of Lille Skensved is 1,565 (1 January 2022), 1,509 in Køge Municipality and 56 in Solrød Municipality.The towns most domineering place of work is CP Kelco Aps, the largest plant in the world producing pectin, carrageenan and refined locust bean gum.

Ølby (lit. 'Beer Town' or "the place where the people are making good beer") is a neighbourhood north of the town of Køge divided into two parts, the village of Ølby and east of the village near the shore of the Bay of Køge a suburb named Ølby Lyng 35 km south-west of Copenhagen, Denmark, located in the northern part of Køge. The suburb is connected with the radial line Køgebugtbanen, a part of the S-train network, at the Ølby station. Ølby church is a small church built in 1997.

Ølby railway station is a railway station serving the suburb of Ølby Lyng in the municipality of Køge, Denmark. It is served by the Køge radial of Copenhagen's S-train network, and by Østbanen to Roskilde and Faxe. In April 2023, DSB started operating regional trains on the Næstved–Køge–Ølby–Copenhagen route via the high speed Copenhagen–Køge Nord Line.

Havdrup is a small railway town straddling the boundary between Solrød and Roskilde municipalities, some 30 km southwest of Copenhagen, Denmark. Havdrup station serves the Little South railway line between Roskilde and Køge. Havdrup had a population of 4,365 (1 January 2022). The original village, now known as Gammel Havdrup, is located about 3 km to the east of the modern railway town.

Solrød Strand is a Danish town, seat of the Solrød Municipality, in the Region Sjælland. It is commonly known simply as Solrød. Its population as of 1 January 2022 was 17,337 including Jersie Strand, the southern part of the Solrød Strand urban area.

It serves Solrød Strand, in the northeastern part of the municipality of Solrød, and serves as the extended terminus of service A, with every second train terminating here on weekdays during daytime.

Karlstrup Landsby is a small village in the municipality of Solrød. The village is approximately 3 km from the beach, Karlstrup Strand, situated in the middle of Køge Bugt (The Bay of Køge). There is a lake nearby, Karlstrup Kalkgrav, which used to be a chalk pit. The Danish national bicycle route #9 passes through Karlstrup Village. Karlstrup is approximately 30 km from the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen.

Køge Stadion is a multi-use stadium in Køge, Denmark. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of HB Køge men and HB Køge women, and their mother club Køge BK. The stadium used to hold 10,000 people and opened in 1932. After renovation in 2019, it now holds room for 1,000 people seated.
