National Museum (Malaysia)

The Muzium Negara station is an underground mass rapid transit (MRT) station in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on the Kajang Line. It is located beneath Jalan Damansara in front of the Muzium Negara (Malay; English: National Museum), which gave the station its name. Although located near Kuala Lumpur Sentral, it is not part of the complex. It is however linked via a 240-metre covered pedestrian walkway to KL Sentral. For this reason, the working name given to the station at the planning stage, which was "KL Sentral station" was not adopted.

The National Defence University of Malaysia (UPNM; Malay: Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia) is a military university located in Sungai Besi Camp, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The university is Malaysia's first catering to the needs and development of the Malaysian Armed Forces. There are around 2,700 undergraduate students, with over 890 of them Officer Cadets that undergo four to five years of training.

The National Planetarium (Malay: Planetarium Negara) is the national planetarium of Malaysia. It is a blue-domed structure that is situated on top of a hill in the Lake Gardens at Jalan Perdana, Kuala Lumpur. It is about 120,000 square feet (11,000 m2) in area.

Hilton Kuala Lumpur is a luxury hotel, located at 3 Jalan Stesen Sentral, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is part of the hotel chain Hilton Hotels & Resorts. Hilton Kuala Lumpur is situated in the heart of the KL Sentral area, towering 35 floors and 154m height. The hotel is under number 43 of the tallest buildings in Malaysia. Next to it is the same building that houses a hotel of the French chain Le Meridien.

Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station (KL Sentral) is a transit-oriented development that houses the main railway station of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. Opened on 16 April 2001, KL Sentral replaced the old Kuala Lumpur railway station as the city's main intercity railway station. KL Sentral is the largest railway station in Malaysia.KL Sentral is designed as an intermodal transport hub. All of Kuala Lumpur's passenger rail lines serve KL Sentral except the Ampang, Sri Petaling and Putrajaya Lines. Many intercity trains serving Peninsular Malaysia start here. All the railway components of the scheme have been completed with the NU Sentral shopping mall located here. It was also designed to be a new business and financial hub for Kuala Lumpur.

The Royal Malaysia Police Museum (Malay: Muzium Polis Diraja Malaysia) is a museum that showcases the history of the Malaysia police force, located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The museum includes exhibits from the history of the Royal Malaysia Police since its origins under British colonial rule until the 1970s. It is open daily, except Monday, from 1000 to 1800 hours, and admission is free.

The Tun Abdul Razak Memorial is an official residence building of Tun Abdul Razak in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which was originally known as the Sri Taman Building. This building was later turned into a museum to commemorate his services and was inaugurated by Dato' Seri Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad (his title at the time) on 6 May 1982. Tun Abdul Razak had lived in this building since 1962 until he breathed his last in January 1976.

The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia (Malay: Muzium Kesenian Islam Malaysia) is a museum in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was officially opened on 12 December 1998. The museum is the largest museum of Islamic arts in South East Asia with more than seven thousands artifacts from the Islamic world.

Kuala Lumpur Bird Park (Malay: Taman Burung Kuala Lumpur) is a 20.9-acre (8.5 ha) public aviary in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located adjacent to the Lake Gardens within a KL green lung in Bukit Aman, close to the National Mosque and Royal Malaysian Police Museum. The Bird Park houses more than 3,000 birds representing more than 200 species in an enclosed aviary. About 90% are local birds and 10% were imported from countries such as Australia, China, Holland, Indonesia, New Guinea, Tanzania and Thailand. The bird park is part of the 60-hectare (150-acre) Lake Gardens, which were established in 1888. In addition to the 20.9-acre (8.5 ha) bird park, which was created in 1991, the gardens include an artificial lake, the National Monument, the Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park, the Deer Park, Orchid and Hibiscus gardens, and the former Malaysia Parliament House. It is one of the world's largest covered bird parks.

The Makam Pahlawan (Malay for Heroes' Mausoleum) is the burial ground of several Malaysian leaders and politicians. It is located near the Malaysian national mosque, Masjid Negara in the national capital, Kuala Lumpur. Construction of the mausoleum began in 1963 under its project of the construction of Masjid Negara and was completed in 1965. The cemetery has an interior and an exterior. Part is covered with a concrete dome in the form of a starburst, each side of which almost touches the ground, and separated by a pond from the outside. In the centre is designed with a decorative symbol of the country, the Emblem of Malaysia (Jata Negara) and carving out new flowers marble from the island of Langkawi. The centre of the domed roof is adorned with gold coloured roses. The Makam Pahlawan area and the Masjid Negara was gazetted in the National Heritage Act 2005 (Act 645), as a National Heritage site by the Heritage Department on 6 July 2007. The plaque installation ceremony was held on 30 April 2009.

Church of the Holy Rosary is a Catholic church situated at Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Kuala Lumpur, and is considered one of the finest examples of neo-gothic architecture in Malaysia.
