It is bordered by Woodbury Road to the north, Washington Boulevard to the south, Los Robles Avenue to the west, and Lake Avenue to the east. While the exterior of many older homes in Southern California have been coated with stucco, Normandie is distinguished by a high concentration of Craftsman homes with well-maintained wooden exteriors. Accordingly, the City of Pasadena has designated more than 50 homes in the neighborhood as architectural landmarks, many on Rio Grande Street, between Los Robles Avenue and El Molino Avenue, which was the site of the first residences in the neighborhood. A significant number of motion pictures and television shows have been shot in Normandie Heights, including parts of the films Valkyrie, Old School, Wedding Crashers, The War of the Worlds, and The Wedding Planner.

Masjid Al-Taqwa was a mosque located in Altadena, California, United States. It was located on Lake Ave across from the Eliot Arts Magnet Academy. Founded as a historical African American masjid, the mosque became more multicultural in subsequent decades. Its origins date back to the 1970s. It was the first mosque in the Pasadena-Altadena area. The building was destroyed by the Eaton Fire in early January 2025. It began as a meeting place for members of the Nation of Islam in the 1970s but became a multicultural Islamic center in the following decades.

Keyes Bungalow is a National Register of Historic Places structure in Altadena, California. It is also notable as being the home of Jackson Gregory an author of Westerns in the 1920s and 1930s. It remains a private home.The Keyes Bungalow's architecture is also known as "airplane" style for its wide, shallow roofline that resembles airplane wings. It was placed on the Register in 1978 for its significance as an example of a Craftsman style home.

Washington Square is a neighborhood in Pasadena, California. It is bordered by Washington Boulevard to the north, Mountain Street to the south, El Molino Avenue to the west, and Lake Avenue to the east. It is notable for having been renamed several times, having been known as part of Orange Heights until the 1950s; in the 1980s it was renamed CLEM (short for Claremont, Lake, El Molino, and Mountain; the streets then encompassing the official area), then Heather Heights until the late 1990s when it was given its current name. The neighborhood was built up gradually until the 1940s, when the last housing tract was built around Heather Square.

Washington Court is a bungalow court located at 475 E. Washington Blvd. in Pasadena, California. The court consists of six single-family homes arranged in an "L" shape; a common walkway and garden runs along the east side of the court, while a driveway on the west side accesses a rear garage. The homes are designed in the English Cottage Revival style and feature cross gabled roofs with wooden louvers at the gable ends, wooden trim and window moldings, and arched entrances with flared eaves. F. R. Finch commissioned the court in 1924; the homes cost $2,250 each to build.The court was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 15, 1994.

The Woodbury–Story House is a National Register of Historic Places structure (site #93001463) in Altadena, California. It was placed on the Register in 1993 for its significance as an example of Italianate and Colonial Revival architecture styles and its association with Capt. Frederick Woodbury, one of the founders of Altadena.

Sahag-Mesrob Armenian Christian School (SMACS) is a private Armenian Christian school currently located in Pasadena, California, after the school’s campus in Altadena, California was destroyed in 2025. Founded in 1980, it provides a Christ-centered education with a focus on Armenian cultural heritage for students from preschool to eighth grade.
