Chang Gung University of Science and Technology (CGUST; Chinese: 長庚科技大學; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tióng-keng Kho-ki Tāi-ha̍k) is a private university in Guishan District, Taoyuan City, and Puzi City, Chiayi County of Taiwan.

The National Taiwan Sport University (NTSU; Chinese: 國立體育大學) is a public university specialized in sports in Taoyuan, Taiwan. NTSU offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, including bachelor's and master's degrees in fields such as sports science, physical education, leisure and recreation management, sports coaching, athletic training, and sports medicine. The university also offers doctoral programs in sports science and physical education.

The NTSU Arena (Chinese: 國立體育大學綜合體育館; pinyin: Guólì Tǐyù Dàxué Zònghé Tǐyùguǎn), also known as Linkou Arena or NTSU Multipurpose Gymnasium, is a multi-purpose indoor arena located on the campus of National Taiwan Sport University in Taoyuan, Taiwan. It was opened in September 1986 and is managed by National Taiwan Sport University. The facility has a capacity of around 15,000 seats for sporting events.

National Taiwan Sport University (Chinese: 體育大學; pinyin: Tǐyù Dàxué), sub-station name Guishan Leshan (Chinese: 龜山樂善; pinyin: Guīshān Lèshàn), is a metro station on the Taoyuan Airport MRT located in Guishan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The station opened for commercial service on 2 March 2017. The local placename is Niujiaopo.

Lunghwa University of Science and Technology (LHU; Chinese: 龍華科技大學; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Liông-hôa Kho-ki Tāi-ha̍k) is a private university of science and technology in the Taiwanese vocational education system, originally based in Guishan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. As its spirit of fundamental of initial creation in its school song, "a technical skill can be valued unlimitedly; both hands can be creating infinitely for country." Popular undergraduate majors at LHU include electronics, business, mechanic, engineering, finance, philology, international business, industrial management, multi-media and gaming science, tourism and leisure science and computer science. Popular fields of study among graduate students include electronics, engineering, computer science and finance. LHU claims to provide HTC, TSMC, UMC and other famous firms with more engineering, computer science and business graduates than any other college or university, and philanthropic support of LHU is among the highest in the Taiwanese vocational education system and technical education system.

In October 2008, it was announced that Acer would phase out Quanta from the production chain, and instead outsource manufacturing of 15 million Aspire One netbooks to Compal Electronics. Losheng Sanatorium (Chinese: 樂生療養院; pinyin: Lèshēng Liáoyǎngyuàn) is a sanatorium for lepers in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei, Taiwan. Losheng means "happy life". The building was constructed in the 1930s during the Japanese colonial period. There were heated debates and protests about plans to replace Losheng Sanatorium with a MRT (Mass Rapid Transport) depot.

The Taipei Metro Huilong station is a station on the Xinzhuang Line located in Xinzhuang, New Taipei City, and Guishan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. It is the western terminus of the Xinzhuang Line and opened on Jun 29, 2013. It will be a terminus on the Wanda–Zhonghe–Shulin line in 2028.

Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (Chinese: 長庚醫院站; pinyin: Chánggēng Yīyuàn Zhàn) is a station on the Taoyuan Airport MRT located in Guishan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The station is served by both all-stops Commuter services and limited-stop Express services.

The New Taipei Municipal DanFeng High School is a school in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei, Taiwan.

Global Mall Taoyuan A8 (Chinese: 環球購物中心桃園A8) is a shopping mall located in Guishan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan that opened in November 2015. With a total floor area of 9,300 m2 (100,000 sq ft), the mall is located inside the building that houses Chang Gung Memorial Hospital metro station.

Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT; Chinese: 明志科技大學; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Bêng-chì Kho-ki Tāi-ha̍k) is a private university of technology in Taishan District, New Taipei, Taiwan. Established in 1963, it currently consists of three colleges: College of Engineering, College of Environment and Resources, and College of Management and Design. MCUT has been consistently regarded as one of the top technical and vocational universities in Taiwan and is well known for its co-operative training programs.
