Shrewsbury Borough School District

The Grove at Shrewsbury is an upscale lifestyle center located on Route 35 in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, 1 mile (1.6 km) south of downtown Red Bank. The center opened in 1988 and has a gross leasable area of 150,000 sq ft (14,000 m2). A lifestyle center is a shopping center or mixed-used commercial development that combines the traditional retail functions of a shopping mall but with leisure amenities oriented towards upscale consumers. The Grove at Shrewsbury was developed and is managed by Metrovation. The center contains 40 stores and is anchored by Brooks Brothers, Anthropologie, Williams Sonoma, J. Crew and Banana Republic.

Allen House is located in Shrewsbury, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The house which would later function as a tavern was built c. 1710 as a second residence for the Stillwell family of NY. Richard, a wealthy merchant, and his wife Mercy had eight children who were brought up primarily in Shrewsbury. By 1754, after Richard and Mercy had died, their heirs sold the property to Josiah Halstead who transformed the home into the Blue Ball Tavern, "the most noted tavern in Shrewsbury." Taverns served as community centers in the 18th century as much as places to drink and eat. The Vestry of Christ Church held meetings there as did the Shrewsbury Library Company and the Monmouth County Circuit Court. During the American Revolutionary War in 1779, a Loyalist party raided the tavern where Continental troops were quartered. They killed 3 and captured 9 in what would become known as the Allen House Massacre. The house is furnished to reflect its use as a colonial tavern. The tavern was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 8, 1974. The house is one of several houses owned and operated as a historic house museum by the Monmouth County Historical Association.

The T. Thomas Fortune House, also known historically as Maple Hall, is a historic house at 94 Drs. James Parker Boulevard in Red Bank, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. Built in the mid-19th century, it was the home of Timothy Thomas Fortune (1856–1928), a leading African-American journalist and civil rights advocate, from 1901 to 1908. The house was named a National Historic Landmark in 1976. It is now owned by a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Fortune's legacy of activism and community involvement.

The Parker Homestead is a historic home and grounds in Little Silver, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States, located at 235 Rumson Road near Sickles Park. The main house was originally built circa 1720, and includes materials from an earlier structure (c. 1667) the early and late 19th century, and the 1910s and 1920s. It is one of the oldest extant buildings in the state. The farmstead which also includes three outlying barns were listed on the New Jersey Register of Historic Places and the National Register of Historic Places. in 2011.

The borough has five elected representatives on the nine-member Board of Education. As of the 2018–19 school year, the high school had an enrollment of 1,208 students and 119.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.1:1.

The Anthony Reckless Estate, now the Woman's Club of Red Bank, is a historic house in downtown Red Bank, New Jersey. It was completed in 1870 and it was added to both the National Register of Historic Places and the New Jersey Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Red Bank Catholic High School is a four-year private coeducational Roman Catholic high school, located in Red Bank in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades, operating under the supervision of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Trenton. The school has been accredited by Cognia since 2013.As of the 2017–18 school year, the school had an enrollment of 915 students and 74.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.3:1. The school's student body was 88.9% (813) White, 3.6% (33) Hispanic, 3.2% (29) Black and 0.9% (8) Asians. The Class of 2010 included students from 67 different communities and 71 schools. Red Bank Catholic High School has 88 full and part-time teachers, nine administrators, six guidance counselors, a campus minister (Charles Gates) and a chaplain. 40% of the school's faculty hold advanced degrees. The Red Bank Armory is a former armory located at 76 Chestnut Street in Red Bank, New Jersey that has been converted to ice rink. The armory was built in 1914 for Troop B of the National Guard's Red Bank Cavalry and featured a 100x144-foot equestrian riding hall. By the 1950s, it was used to store old tanks.In 1998 Armory was converted to an ice rink, and is home to the Red Bank Generals, members of the New Jersey Youth Hockey League.
