Woods Cross is a city in Davis County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 9,761 as of the 2010 census, with an estimated population in 2019 of 11,431.

Woods Cross High School is a public high school (serving grades 10–12) in Woods Cross, Utah, in the Davis School District. It is sometimes abbreviated as WXHS. As of the 2019–20 school year, the principal is Deanne Kapetanov. The assistant principals are Todd Hammond, Mike Moss, and Jessika Christensen 1,485 students were enrolled at that time.

The James and Jane Eldredge House, at 564 West 400 North in West Bountiful, Utah, was built in 1896. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.It is a two-and-a-half-story brick house with Victorian Eclectic and Italianate architecture. It is built upon a stone foundation consisting of sandstone blocks at the front and granite in the rear. It has a central block and projecting bays. There are additions to the rear and a recent (as of 2005) one-story front addition to the east of the main house.A two-story carriage house to the rear, which was converted into a residence in 1977, is a second contributing building in the listing.The house's original owners were James Alanson Eldredge, a state legislator and businessman, and Jane Jennings Eldredge, daughter of William Walker Jennings. The house was a social center, and was even connected by a railroad spur from the Devereaux House, another social center, in Salt Lake City, during the early 1900s. It was deemed significant in part as "an excellent remaining example of a large Victorian Eclectic style house with an extant carriage house, within the City of West Bountiful. Carriage houses were rare in Utah, but were ubiquitous in West Bountiful, this being a prime example."

Viewmont High School is a public high school located in Bountiful, Utah. The school is a member of the Davis School District. The principal, as of 2021, is Travis Lund. In 2011, VHS was identified by Newsweek magazine and the Washington Post as being in the top 5% of all public high schools in the United States. Viewmont students average 23.44 on the ACT. In addition, Viewmont graduates 96% of its seniors, with over 40% earning college credit through Advanced Placement and Concurrent Enrollment classes. In 2019 5,300 CE Credits were earned by the junior and senior classes. In 2020, the senior class generated approximately $10.7 million in scholarship offers. Viewmont also offers a full range of artistic, athletic, and career and technical programs. Over the years there have been 41 state titles and 219 regional titles.

The Heber C. Kimball Gristmill was built in 1853 under the direction of Heber C. Kimball. Constructed within what was known as North Mill Cañon (Bountiful, Utah today), the gristmill ground grains for nearly 40 years. During a period of a few years, the mill employed trained bears which were captured in the mountains east of the mill. Once burr mills became obsolete due to the invention of roller mills, the building was employed as an entertainment center. Today, only the foundation and a few feet of the adobe walls of the original three-story building remain. Some 30 yards east of the original site stands a monument consisting of a replica mill, two original burr-type gristmill stones re-discovered in 1984 and three four-foot high pillars commemorating individuals involved in the planning or operation of the mill.

Bountiful is a city in Davis County, Utah. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 45,762, an eight percent increase over the 2010 figure of 42,552. The city grew rapidly during the suburb growth of the late 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s and was Davis County's largest city until 1985, when it was surpassed by Layton. Bountiful is Utah's 18th-largest city. Although a part of the Ogden–Clearfield metropolitan area, it serves as a bedroom community to Salt Lake City and the surrounding area. However, due to the very narrow entrance into Salt Lake County, roads between the counties often reach near-gridlock traffic during rush hour. The FrontRunner commuter rail has been running since April 2008, and the Legacy Parkway was opened on September 13, 2008. These were built to help alleviate the traffic load on Interstate 15 through the Bountiful area.

North Salt Lake is a city in Davis County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 16,322 at the 2010 census, which had risen to an estimated 20,948 as of 2019.The city is often casually known as North Salt Lake City as it shares a municipal boundary with Salt Lake City to the south, though the city's actual corporate name is "The City of North Salt Lake". The error also has been solidified with the Federal Communications Commission, which has radio station KALL (700) officially licensed to "North Salt Lake City", though for all intents and purposes that station serves the Salt Lake City market in general.

The Rich-Steeper House, at 415 S. Main St. in Centerville, Utah, was built in 1908. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.It is a one-and-a-half-story yellow brick single family residence. Its design is transitional, between Victorian and Bungalow form; it combines central-block-with-projecting bays and bungalow house types, and has Neoclassical stylings. Its front, south-facing gables have "Palladian style windows with decorative muntins in the upper sashes of the flanking windows."

The Nathan T. and Anna Porter House, at 224 South 210 West in Centerville, Utah, was built in 1915. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.It was deemed significant in part as a "fine example of an Arts and Crafts-style bungalow - one of only two contributing Craftsman bungalows in Centerville."A historic garage is a second contributing building on the property.
